Brothers and sisters, in today's video, we wanted to share a budget friendly resource specifically for those who are in Medina on a tourist visa and have to leave every 90 or 180 days to renew their stay in the kingdom. If you're here with a big family or on a budget, you already know having to spend on flights and maybe accommodation to exit the kingdom every 3 to 6 months can be ridiculously expensive, especially if you're doing a last minute booking. Alhamdulillah, there is much easier and more affordable option for those with limited budget or a large families, of course. So this option is taking a bus with a travel agency from Medina to Jordan. Inshallah I'll explain exactly how this works, what to expect and few things you need to watch out for. So there are travel agencies here in Medina that organize full bus trips to Jordan to renew your stay in the kingdom. The one we personally use is the one in the Kurban area next next to Aak Alasi Hotel. I believe they have a bus during the trip two times a week, Tuesday and Thursdays. The bus will usually depart after around 4:30 p.m. The ride is smooth and very comfortable with spacious seats and AC. Alhamdulillah. This is uh keep in mind this is at least a full day roundtrip travel meaning not less than 24 hours. It's about 14 hours one way including stops for food, restrooms and and prayer. All right. As far as uh payment concerns, you will make two different payments for the whole trip inshallah. You will pay 150 real for the round trip for each seat occupied on the bus. Lap babies don't pay this fees b this price is only for the bus transportation though from Medina to the Jordan border and back to Medina. So you can pay that amount the day of the trip or a couple days earlier. My recommendation though will be to pay a couple days ahead so you can secure your spot in case you're traveling with many members in your family. All right. So the second payment you will make you make the second payment when you arrive at the border. This is for the taxi that will take you from the border where you will exit Saudi Arabia and enter the Jordan border then bring you back again to Haka city which is the city in Saudi bordering Jordan. I hope that is clear. So the cost for the taxi is only 60 per person and it's only cash. Yes, the agency will already make arrangement with the taxi drivers before you get there. So, don't worry. Inshallah, you will not have to worry about struggling to find a taxi or negotiate any price. It is already rearranged. All you need to do is just pay the fees basically. So, the 60 real you pay at the border is just for the taxi driver service fees. There is no visa fees involved. The driver literally handles everything during the process. you will collect your password before the border crossing and deal with the border agents. In most cases, all you you will need to do is just the fingerprint and go through the security check. So, just a little heads up before we continue. As you know, we always want to keep things real with you and try our best not to withhold any information necessary. So during your your trip from Medina to the Jordan border, there may be times where a driver may try to keep going without stopping to allow people to bring the swalla at its due time. I'm referring specifically to faj which cannot be combined when traveling. So my assumption is that u this may be because the bus usually arrives at the border destination around fajitan. In some cases, he may be running behind schedule. So, he tries to rush through the to rush through to make it. Allah knows best. I just wanted to mention this so you can be more mindful and better prepared. Don't just sit back or maybe sleep through the ride assuming that they know better to stop for the prayer. Sometimes you might need to check with the driver to know when he plans to stop for prayer or remind him that the people need to pray. I mean, that's all you need to do. be firm and persistent in speaking and we ask Allah subhana wa ta'ala that you never have to experience this. May Allah use our offers for us. Amen. Anyways, back to our bus ride. Once you arrive at the Saudi side of the border, which is the city of Hako, the bus will drop you off. From there, you will get into a car arranged by the travel agency that will be waiting to drive you through the actual border crossing. So once you reach the Saudi border control, you will get your existent from Saudi then the car continues towards the Jordan border which should take less than 5 minutes really. When you reach the Jordan side, everyone's everyone gets out to go through security check and wait for the driver to come through the other side of the exit. And that's it. You literally get back in the car to turn around and head right back to Sawi. So this process can take about 30 minute to an hour depending on how busy it is and the number of agents on duty. When re-entering Saudi Arabia, you will go through the border check again where they will stem your passport which will reset your stay in the kingdom for another 90 or 180 days as long as your visa is still valid. So then you will go through another security inspection where everyone will get out of the car again including the driver. Women will go to a different building where they will be checked before they allowed to go back in the car. So at this point the the driver will collect his fees from you before driving you back to the bus for you to start the 14-hour journey back to Medina. Very simple, very straightforward. No need for a hotel stay. Alhamdulillah. I mean some of the benefit you know this option is pretty affordable and alhamdulillah instead of paying thousand of real for plane tickets, hotels, food and transportation you just pay 210 real total per person. This includes the bus, car ride and border service. I mean it's predictable and is planned and organized. So you have less things to worry about. There is no stress of booking flights and hotel or trying to find the cheapest country. Try to I mean it's also great if if time is tight where you finding yourself doing your your border run in the last minute which which can happen sometime due to our busy life schedule. Anyway, so since this is a long trip, we have few recommendations for you inshallah. Hopefully that will help and uh remove some of the challenges that you can encounter on the way. Be eating a lot. My the first recommendation would be to bring along a lot of snacks and drinks and warm blankets and pillows and maybe some paper towels for the road if you're traveling with kids. Even though the bus makes stops for people to buy food, we recommend bringing along your own. Even if it's a little, just a little. I mean, this is especially if you're traveling with kids or you have someone who may be uh a little picky when it comes to what they eat. It's good to have options or have something on hand to eat whenever hunger strike. Being stuck in a bus for so many hours can bring a lot of craving or for snacks for sure. Anyway, so I will also recommend um a few to bringing a few toys or plan some activities to busy the kids during the trip and also you know some beneficial books or lectures for yourself. If you're traveling with small kids age five and under, we highly recommend getting inflatable travel beds like the one on the screen. So with that you can place it in in between the seats to allow them to sit and sleep comfortably beh much much easier for everyone. All right. You know some people may experience swollen feet due to the prolonged seating. So we advise staying hydrated wearing compressed socks and uh perhaps purchasing two seats instead of one to be able to keep uh the feet elevated on the seats. All right. Um, another thing be mindful that uh when it comes to restroom breaks you will have to manage it. You have to really manage it well as the driver seems to make stops at end times and specific places not per person passenger needs. Another thing we think you should be me mentally prepared for, especially if you're coming from the west, is the not so pleasing bathroom situations that you may encounter in some at some of the rest stop. If the mirror site of squats toilets makes you cringe, then we have bad news for you. Most of the restrooms you will encounter will only have squatting toilets. Honestly, having lived in Africa for many years, I can overlook and be patient. However, the rest of my family said that they were traumatized by the state of some of the restrooms. Subhan Allah. Our biggest advice uh is is to just make sure you always bring soap and tissue along with you every time you go to the restroom. Don't expect to find anything there. Last but not least, utilize that time during the trip to remember Allah much. and reflect upon his favors and blessings upon you. Subhan Allah. And realize that all the struggles and hardship you will be reward you will be rewarded for it inshallah. For indeed, even through the struggles and hardship, there is mercy from your Lord, the most compassionate and merciful Allah. Really take advantage of the long journey by making a lot of dua. For indeed, the dua of the travelers is answered by Allah's permission. Especially if you also happen to port Medina on Thursday, then you will find yourself on the road Friday during the last hours between us and Mik. So really take advantage of it. May Allah bless our time in success in this life and the next. All right. This is actually the options that uh we wanted to present to you guys. And of course, we understand that this is this option may not be the best for everyone due to the long drive and other things that may be out of your control. However, we also know that there is many that may appreciate this convenience as well. So, don't forget to share with those that you think will benefit from watching this. May Allah aid us and ease our affair for us. I mean, if you haven't done so already, check out our video on how you can travel affordably from Medina to Mecca by bus for Umrah. Another great option for large families and those on budget. May Allah subhana wa ta'ala bless our journey and grant us all success in this life and the next. See you in the next video inshallah. That's why he catch
