Analysis Summary
Us vs. Them
Dividing the world into two camps — people like us (good, trustworthy) and people not like us (dangerous, wrong). It exploits a deep human tendency to favor our own group. Once you accept the division, information from "them" gets automatically discounted.

Worth Noting
Positive elements
- This video provides a concise summary of the 'sabotage' theory regarding the Hyperloop, which is a significant point of debate in urban planning and transportation circles.
Be Aware
Cautionary elements
- The use of unrelated controversial figures (Epstein) to invalidate a technical or political argument through association rather than evidence.

So around 2013, California was planning on building a bunch of electric bullet trains, which would have been entirely powered by solar. This would have been a huge win for the people of California, giving them access to affordable, high-speed public transportation. However, this is when billionaire Elon Musk came in and said, "No, don't build these trains. I'm going to build something better. I'm going to build the Hyperloop," which is straight out of a sci-fi movie. So, California canled their highspeed rail project in favor of allowing Elon to go forward with his plan. Despite the fact that a prototype for the Hyperloop had never been built. Despite this, Elon never followed through on his promise to bring California the Hyperloop or even to build the Hyperloop at all. It's over a decade later now, and this technology still doesn't even exist. Other companies took a stab at it, such as Richard Branson's Virgin Hyperloop 1, but they all failed to build this technology in a way that would be even remotely affordable. Although maybe they installed one on Epstein's island. And as a result, the people of California were left with nothing. Not only did they not get the Hyperloop, but they didn't get highspeed [music] rail either. And now Elon Musk can sell them more electric vehicles, which maybe was his plan all along. This guy's whole MO is promising futuristic sci-fi technology, failing to deliver on it, and then calling himself a genius. And I think it's high time that we stop letting these Epstein associates control our public infrastructure.
