Hi everybody. Just a quick heads up to give you the information that AMD has silently released an update for their old Polaris and Vega graphics cards or GPUs. That includes, of course, also our beloved AMD APUs based on uh Vega iGPUs just like this Ryzen 5 5500U. And I've installed the driver. As you can see here, the version number is 2611. And so far so good. Everything works good. The bad news is that AMD hasn't released any release notes with this driver update. So, we have no clue what's actually going on, what they fixed. Probably not that much. I hope though that they at least fix some compatibility issues with AAA games like Battlefield 6 or so that that would still run fine on most Vega iGPUs. I've wrote AMD to please give me an update. Let's see what happens. But don't expect much. As you know, the last update only mentioned some fixes to the Adrenaline software suite. Not really what we hoped for, but yeah, if you try it out and you see something that now works that didn't work before, let me know in the comments.
