Hello guys, Chris here. Welcome back to another video. In this one, my friends, I'm going to be testing a GeForce GT 1032 GB GDDR5 in Resident Evil Slideshow, I mean Racuum. This one is the MSI Aero version of the card. It's overclocked out of the box. And I will overclock it a little bit further. All right, 150 MHz there on the core clock. And uh you know what? Let's do a th00and on the memory clock. Here we And now it crashes. We can't do it that far. Okay, come on. Come on, PC. You can do you can live through it. Let's go. Let's live through this. Oh my god. Okay. Yeah. What a start, my friends. Let's try that again, shall we? So, I overclocked it. As you can see, now it's working. So, we we didn't really push it too far this time around. And you can see that I'm pairing it with the i512600 KF and 32 GB of RAM, which is very overkill for a card like this, but who cares? We're here to test the GPU, and nobody should buy this game with the GT1030 because we're getting uh 11 FPS. Yeah, very smooth 11 FPS at the very least. That frame time graph does not move whatsoever. So, that indicates zero stuttering. Guys, if you're looking for the best stability pro possible inside of this game, the GT 1030 has got you covered. It gets 13 or 14 FPS on average. As you can see, 12 1% lows. It is very close to those average frame rates, right? I mean, imagine if the 5090 was as stable as this one in terms of average and 1% lows. You know, it would be amazing. 300 FPS, 290 FPS, 1%. Actually, never mind. We got 1 FPS 1% low now for some reason. Okay, so let's stop joking about things and actually try to make this playable. I doubt we will succeed, my friends, but I'm going to try it anyways. We're already at 720p resolution. All right, utilizing the lowest settings possible. Of course, it goes without saying, right? Uh and uh what else can we do? Well, we can go to the upscaling technology of course and set it to like FSR3 maybe ultra performance already on top of 720p. What's that? 240p or something like that. Yeah, no frame gen. We don't have VRAM for frame gen. Okay. But I'll still try it out later. And we're getting exactly the same. I mean, maybe not. We were getting like 11 FPS here. Now we're getting 14 FPS. So that means that looking back, for example, uh I was going to say gives us a lot more frames, but no, it's still 14 fps. So it's amazing, isn't it? Again, super buttery smooth frame time. That is a flat line. That's how frame times are supposed to look like. All right, for the best, most stable experience of all time. And well, GT 1030 again doesn't disappoint in that regard, but it disappoints in everything else. Anyway, let's take a look at those beautiful water droplets here from the rain. H how crazy is that? Super high resolution, right? Actually, it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would look, especially because this is FSR 3, you know, FSR 3.1 uh.5, but still way better in terms of quality, upscaling from that 240p resolution to 720p than I thought it would be. Uh, but we're still far away from a playable experience. So, uh, it's needless to say, by the way, at this point in the video that you should not buy this game if you have a GT1030. If you're here because this is your GPU and you want to play this game, forget it. All right, you need a GPU upgrade. But let's keep on being crazy, shall we? I'm going to use FSR1 now, which is less intensive than FSR3 on performance, though. So, it's 360p, not 240p. You know what? Okay, so it's 360p. That's why it probably looks better. But I kind of dig this in terms of visuals. It's not too terrible. Again, like it has a weird and interesting art style. Kind of fitting for what? Like a PlayStation Portable or something like that. A Nintendo 3DS. I don't know. But it it looks interesting. Obviously, the frame rate is still the same. So, we'll need to test out another area soon to see if it improves. But in this area, which is really, really intensive of an area, it doesn't really change by all that much, unfortunately. I don't know what it is, but I'm I'm liking this. Obviously, we have a ton of issues with the picture right now. Like, look at that. It's a shimmery, weird, noisy mess everywhere. But it's interesting, right? I think on a small screen on like a smartphone display, the oversharpening of FSR1 might actually make it appealing to look at. That's something that I did not expect to say in this video. Let's enable FSR3 frame generation. And now, oh, it actually doubles our FPS. When was the last time that you saw frame generation actually doubling the frame rate? Well, it's it's not quite, but we were at what, 14, 13 FPS. Now we're at 23. Yeah, that is very close to doubling the frame rate. Sometimes we can achieve 30 or close to Yeah, there we go. 30 FPS there. Everything looks like it's in slow motion, though. At least I It's probably like the input lag or something. Isn't it in slow motion? Is this how people normally walk? I don't know, man. I've been indoors for way too long testing GPUs. So, you tell me. Is this in slow motion? It really looks like it is in slow motion right now. I think Gris was walking a little bit faster than this previously. So, uh maybe it's because the game internally is still running at 11 or 13 FPS and now with the frame generation on top, it's just a smoother 11 or 13 FPS, which kind of works, right? The input lag is way too high. It's completely unplayable like this. But I mean, it's more pleasing to look at. All right, let's check it out in another area here. This is indoors, so it gets more FPS. As you can see, this is not dropping from 30 frames per second, but this is with that frame generation enabled. So, uh, yeah, it's still running in slow motion. It is so freaking weird, dude. You'll make this game way more scary than it needs to be if you're playing like this. All right, guys. Oh, boy. Oh boy. Okay. Oh boy. Okay. No, that is I'm not going to spoil it to you guys. That That's not a spoiler. That's just a normal zombie. Okay. Let's go to that central hole area again because this is a bit too scary, especially in slow motion. Like your actions are also in slow motion. So, it's not like you you see them coming and you have time to avoid them. Oh boy. Anyways, yeah, you might look at the frame rate right now and go like, "Yeah, this is playable on GT 1030. It's getting 30 FPS, but don't forget this is with frame generation. There's a freak ton of input lag, and it is absolutely terrible in terms of that." Anyway, let's disable FG and uh Okay, now things aren't in slow motion. Well, they're kind of in slow motion still, but it's not as bad right now in terms of the the input lag especially. That's okay. We're getting 20 to 30 most of the time, which is awful, but it could be worse. Right over here, we get up to 30 FPS less intensive area, you know. Oh, man. 15 16. So, we're back to the FPS that we were seeing outside, right? That's because over here is a very intensive uh super detailed area. So, the GPU just craps its pants basically. Like that's what's happening here. It doesn't have the bandwidth to render more things on screen than a flat corridor basically. Pretty horrible experience with a 1030, my friends. I don't know where we can go from here. Honestly, just don't install this game with this card. Okay. Okay. So, this is already the lowest resolution this game allows. We can't go down from 720p and we're already using the lowest internal resolution that this game allows as well by the upscaling technology. So, there is no saving this basically. But I'm curious on the back of my mind, I've been thinking, what about 4K resolution? Will the best optimized game of 2026 so far just flat out crash on the GT1030 at 4K resolution? Or will it actually load the game itself? Loading screen gets us 20 frames per never mind. We're down to seven. Uh I mean if it gets seven FPS inside of the game at 4K native resolution, I will applaud them. But it's definitely not going to it's just going down. Oh, I I can finally get into it. Okay, here we are. We're getting three FPS. Isn't that the same as Borderlands 4 at 1080p with this GPU? No. That's right. Borderlands 4 at 1080p on this GPU lowest settings got two FPS. So, that game is more intensive at 1080p lowest settings while looking worse than this. This still looks amazing even though it's low lowest settings, right? And at a quarter of resolution that we're playing on right now, it's still more intensive. That's crazy, right? Anyway, uh obviously I mean this is good for screenshots if you really wanted to take a screenshot of this game at 4K lowest settings for some reason. Or maybe watch this video on YouTube with two times the speed on the playback. Oh, that's a terrific idea, my friends. Oh yes. Let me know how that goes. Will it actually look smooth or is it still a slideshow? I think it's still going to be a slideshow. I mean, from two or 3 FPS to four or six, there's not much to it, is there? Oh boy. Anyway, I am absolutely amazed that the game just doesn't flat out crash completely at 4K resolution with this GPU. I thought it would. I I want to see it with frame generation. And I know I'm I'm already seeing the comments. Why the heck are you testing this at 4K resolution? You skipped 1080p. Do you really think 1080p is going to be playable? I mean, we we're getting 12 fps at 720 or 11. It's not playable. You'd be getting like eight. All right. So, that's why I'm skipping 1080p. So, it just it doesn't matter. No matter what you do with the 1030, it's always going to be terrible. But I I'm curious about this stuff at 4K. So, there we go. All right. Oh. Oh, no. Don't abort my game. Come on. Fatal D3D error. Device removed. Is it because of the overclock again? I'm going to remove the overclock and try again. No. Again. So, it crashes. We found the limits, guys. Capcom isn't having it. If you play the game at 4K with frame generation on a GT 1030, they say nah. But my mom didn't raise a quitter, my friends. Oh, no. I still have an ace up my sleeve if I can browse this menu here. I will try FSR performance with frame gen at 4K, which will render the game at 1080p. And hopefully this will be Oh my god, 12 FPS. I I'm very glad to see that somehow. Oh, it works. It actually works. We got five frames per second with frame generation. This is the worst input lag that I've ever seen. I'm not sure if this is worse than Borderlands 4. Actually, I don't remember if I played with frame generation there with the two FPS, but yeah, I I've I don't remember this amount of input lag ever in my life. Look at this. Yeah, this this ain't happening, my friends. Come on, stop that. Stop the madness, Crisp, let's go. It's time to go home. I just I want to try it, though. I want to try disabling the upscaler. Come on. Come on. Give me that frame, Jen. At native 4K. There we go. There we go. All right. One frame. One frame per second. I'm trying to go back to the game. Hopefully, it doesn't crash. This is the finish line, my friends. I see it. It's not registering anything. Okay. Okay. Wait, wait, wait. It We're Okay. It's working. It's working. It's going to work. Come on. Come on. You can do it. You can do it. Why am I doing I don't know. This entire video was a mistake. I What the heck are we doing? Right. We did it. Frame generation is now working on top of native 4K resolution, guys. And we made it way worse than without frame generation. somehow. By the way, do you want to see the input lag? Wait, it's still moving. I moved previously like 10 seconds ago. I think it's going to work now. I'm standing still. So, here we go. Input lag test. Three, two, one. Damn. Isn't this the most idiotic thing that you've seen in your life? Oh, it crashed now. Oh boy. I hope you enjoyed this madness. Thanks very much for watching. Catch you in the next one. Love you all. Bye-bye.
