Analysis Summary
Ask yourself: “Whose perspective is missing here, and would the story change if they were included?”
Moral framing
Presenting a complex issue with genuine tradeoffs as a simple choice between right and wrong. Once something is framed as a moral issue, compromise feels like complicity and disagreement feels immoral rather than reasonable.
Haidt's Moral Foundations Theory; Lakoff's framing research (2004)
Worth Noting
Positive elements
- Provides specific examples of celebrity body changes and explains semaglutide's mechanism (GLP-1 mimicry for blood sugar/satiety) alongside calls for mental health focus over diets.
Be Aware
Cautionary elements
- Single-cause framing ties disparate historical events to current thinness trends, potentially oversimplifying complex beauty standards to heighten dramatic impact.

[music] Welcome to the struggle diaries. This time from the floor. I find myself in the same predicament I [music] did last week, but you know what? We're just going to go with it. And yes, overhead lighting. You win this one. I wasn't going to talk about this today. In fact, today I was planning on talking on the whole Erica Kirk Candice Owens battle royale that is happening right now. I told you the girls were going to be fighting. I told you. I told you Erica was going to snap. Which tells me that that phone call that Candace said would make her stop did take place. Erica told Candice to stop and Candace said no. And this is where we are today. If you want to know what I'm talking about, watch these videos that I posted on them. But I'm not going to talk about that today. Today I'm going to talk about something that like I said, I wasn't planning on talking about it, but there were two photos that I saw recently that I I I just can't stay silent anymore. And before I start, I have to give everybody a trigger warning. I am going to be discussing ED. And I know that some people find this very difficult and triggering to hear. So, if that's you, please do yourself a favor and just click off. Subscribe first and then click off. Also, before I move on, I want to thank you guys. We made it to 4,000 subscribers. [screaming] Guys, we did it. Oh my gosh, you guys. You will never know how much I love and appreciate you. Some of you have been with me from the very beginning when I had two, three subscribers. And here we are, what, four years later, and we made it to 4,000. That's amazing. That is amazing. Thank you so much, guys. If you haven't subscribed to my channel, and you watch my videos, which 90% of you who watch me haven't done, please subscribe to my channel. If you find value in the things that I say, my commentary, please help me grow my channel. Thank you very much. Now, let's get into the video. Now, as I was saying, there were two images that I saw this week that made me want to talk about this. The first one was this photo of Ariana Grande. And um yeah, I I said this is not this is not healthy skinny. This is not naturally skinny. This is sick skinny. And we have to start talking about it. The other image I saw and a lot of people are talking about it is um Aussie Osborne's daughter. I can't believe I forgot her name. I used to watch their show religiously, their reality show. Um but I'll put it here on the screen. And um I didn't recognize her. She looks deathly. And she was discussing the fact that she just lost her dad and she has been struggling. And I understand that part, but that is not why she looks like that. Because she has been shrinking for a while and we have been watching it in silence. And I'm just not going to stay silent anymore. We have to talk about this. We have to talk about this because it's getting out of hand. And if my little voice can help turn the tide somehow and save one person, here I am. Now, I'm going to start by saying that the people that I'm talking about, I am not really going to blame these people because this situation with EDS is not a physical disorder. It's a mental illness and it is a dysmorphia that doesn't really allow these women to know what they look like. When these women look in the mirror, all they see are flaws and things that need to be fixed, reduced. They see a body that needs to be conquered. And their way of conquering this body is by exerting is by exerting an insane amount of control over this body that they feel needs to be fixed. And understand these women don't really care about the fact that men don't find this extreme weight loss attractive. They don't care. This is not about the male gays. This is for other women because this is a competition. This is a race for the bottom of who can get smaller. These women are signaling to other women who are of the same mentality. And what they're signaling to each other is, I am more disciplined than you. I have more willpower than you. I am better than you. That's what this competition is about. And this requires mental health treatment. It's not about diets. It's not about routines and lifestyle practices. This is about getting to the core of what is allowing these women to punish their bodies to the extreme. Now, this is not the first time that we've seen women taking their bodies to this extreme. Remember the '9s and the early 2000s when this kind of thinness was in? Do you remember the cast of Ali Mciel and Friends and so many other shows of the time that you saw the women just one by one just started getting smaller and smaller and smaller. So this is not the first time we've contended with this. But what if I told you that this goes even way beyond that? This skinny chic is something that is tied to two major things that happened back in the day and just happened recently. Number one, a major pandemic. And number two, the rise of fascism. And I'm not going to take credit for this. I'm going to give a big shout out to the channel Elliot Sang again. I believe that's his name. I'm going to link it below. And I just saw this video that he put out that just really it's one of the reasons why I was inspired to talk about this because I thought it was so fascinating. And he took us back all the way back to after the Spanish flu in 1918. It was a major global event. So many people died. So many people got sick. And when they came out of this major pandemic, there was this desire to be super healthy, to do everything to make sure that your body didn't succumb to anything else. And it was around this time that fascism was raising its ugly head in Europe, in Germany. And one of the things that the the eugenics project that they were engaging in over there at that time, part of that was this thing about the ideal physical fitness. It wasn't just about, yeah, it's good to be white and blonde and blue-eyed. That was the the image that was being sold as the ideal humans. But they also had to be in perfect shape. Men had to be strong and muscular, not too big, but you know, just fit. And women had to be tiny and light and feathery. And if you look at images of the roaring 20s, you're not going to see very curvaceious women as the standard of beauty. They were very skinny. That's why they could fit into their androgynous pants suits and and and tiny little flapper dresses because that was the image that was being exalted not only as the paragon of health but also the image of the ideal human beings. Fast forward to now. Here we are. Those two global major events just happened and they're currently happening. And what did we see when we came out or when we were in the middle of the pandemic? Everybody was looking at ways to be healthier. And you had these entire communities that started springing online of people that just wanted to be extremely healthy. They took it to the extreme. That's where the antivax movement came from. And you had people loading up on vitamins and wanting to do their exercise routine. They wanted to do their yoga and pilates and and drinking lots of water. And this is where you have the the Stanley cup and other containers to carry your water became popular because we wanted to signal to others I am at peak health and this thing is not going to get me. And lots of conspiracy theories started propagating about what is healthy and what is not. And with that rise came the rise of RFK Jr. who is now the director of the health department here in the United States. And so you have this man who has aligned himself to this um government and their ideals and he has used his position to propagate these thoughts of what's the ideal health. And he even sees himself as the the best propaganda of what a man his age is supposed to look like. Never mind the fact that this man is probably injecting steroids into his body. probably allegedly he might be taking human growth hormones. He goes to a tanning salon and this super tight physique. It's all about signaling to others my discipline, my value as a human being is being displayed by how my body is reflecting my practices. And recently when we had this situation with the government shutdown, when SNAP benefits were taken away from struggling people, there was all this conversation about why are they using taxpayer dollars to to buy junk food and do all these things and these people are fat. And so we started judging people and equating their eating habits with their worthiness as human beings. talking about the fact that taxpayer dollars should only be used for the the cleanest, healthiest foods possible, if we're going to give money to these poor people and if we're going to have these free lunch programs in in public schools, the money should be used for the healthiest of food. And you know what? I agree. I think that's wonderful. But isn't it interesting that when Michelle Obama was the first lady and she wanted to do something like this, she wanted to introduce the healthiest, freshest, most organic foods in school lunches. The same people who insulted her and called her everything but a child of God. Don't tell us what to do. Don't tell us how to feed our children. Mind your own business, Michelle. Those are the same people that now that this man is saying the same thing, they're like, "Yes, finally somebody cares about the kids." [sighs] Interesting, isn't it? So, in a moment in time that is so rife with all these signifiers and all these these judgment calls that we are making tied to people's bodies. Can you see how the introduction of semiglutide injections has come at the right time and by right time I mean the wrong time. I made a video um was it last year or the year before last talking about ompic phase and we talked a little bit about semiglutide injections and basically these are ompic mjaro wgoi and semiglutide injections basically mimic a natural hormone called GLP1 and this hormone basically plays a really good blood sugar regulating role in our bodies. It regulates blood sugar. It slows down the stomach from emptying of food and it maintains this feeling of satiation like you're not hungry anymore. It keeps you feeling full so you're not constantly reaching for food. And like I said, this is what we call ompici mjaro. There's even a new one that I heard that what is it called? Betta and they're saying that only the most exclusive, the richest, most powerful people have access to this one because this one is not even approved by the FDA to be in the market and you have to know somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody to get your hands on that one. But this is what the people are doing because even though I started by saying that yes, this is some kind of a mental illness that these women have at the same time they know what they're doing. They know what they are doing when they say things like, "Oh, but I'm just being healthy now. I'm just exercising and I I'm eating healthier and I'm taking care of my body and that's why I'm losing weight." Girl, y'all have been exercising from jump. You have private chefs and nutritionists and you have been going at this for the longest time and all of a sudden everything works. Everything suddenly works. You exercise and you lose that much weight in such a short period of time. Everybody is going on a fitness routine that finally works for everybody. We know what this is. Don't lie. Don't don't don't do that. Don't play with us. But these injections were designed to help people who actually have problems regulating the sugar in their bloodstream. your diabetic people, your pre-diabetics, when it's administered to them, it is wonderful. That's what it was created for. But when we give this to people who just want to lose weight, especially people who are already thin, this is not a good thing. Because see, semaglutides, they do not help you burn calories. They don't improve your metabolism. They don't help you maximize the extraction of nutrients from food. So you don't have to eat as much. What this does is make you not feel hungry so you can starve yourself better. Yeah, it's a tool for starvation. And when you starve your body, that is never a good thing. Now controlled fasting, that is very good for your body. I've talked about the fact that I intermittent fast, which basically means I don't eat breakfast. I'm not hungry in the mornings. So that allows me to extend my fasting window from the last meal I had the night before until lunchtime. And during that time, it allows my body to enter what's called autophagy. And autophagy is basically a period of time when if you pass 12 hours or more without eating, your body then thinks, "Oh, this might be a famine. we need to really clear out the system so we can at least feed on something. So what happens is the cells in your body begin to repair themselves and they open up and release any kind of garbage that it doesn't need and it kind of feeds on that. [laughter] It sounds disgusting but it kind of feeds on that. It gives itself a boost of energy and at the same time it gets to speed up the healing of your body. That is a very good thing. But these fasts are controlled, they are measured, and they last a limited window of time. When you take these injections for weeks and months, and you're on them for years, you are starving your body beyond its limit. You are torturing your body. And so your body is now scrambling to survive. So what is it doing? It's basically cannibalizing itself. So it is leeching all the nutrients and the calcium from your bones and it is feasting on your muscles. And this is one of the things that you notice when these people are in these injections. They don't have that nice natural healthy glow of a person who's actually healthy. Their cheeks are hollow. Their eyes are sunken in. They start to look almost alienike. It's really an uncanny and and and really horrible thing to watch. They really start to look like something is wrong. Like you can look at them and know this is not healthy. This is not the result of loving your body. This body is under duress because you are losing muscle and tissue and your bones are shrinking. you're starting to to to see osteopenia, which is the precursor to osteoporosis. And we're going to be seeing a lot of young young people going into the doctor with brittle bones that belong on the body of a 100-year-old person. Now, why do I say that ompic and and these semiglutides are just the beginning? Well, we are entering a time in scientific advancement where we are developing smart drugs, drugs that are tailorade for each person. They can extract your DNA, find out how your body responds to different diseases or viruses, and they can tailor make drugs that work with your own DNA to fight diseases that were death sentences before, like cancer and liver disease and Alzheimer's. And because these things are coming in the market and they're going to be helping all these people who suffer from these conditions, I am excited about the future. I love the fact that these drugs exist. But you really think that this is going to be it? That that's where it's going to stop at just helping people battle cancer? Let's not pretend that doctors are above enriching themselves, even if it means allowing people to hurt themselves. We've seen this happen. It happened with the opioid crisis that we are still now seeing the effects. If you want to know why there's so many homeless people everywhere, that was the opioid crisis. Doctors were overprescribing pain medications to people knowing that they were addicted, but because they were getting kickbacks from the drug companies, they didn't care. They were just writing prescriptions like it was, you know, writing invitations to a party. They didn't care. And in the future, when these smart drugs can allow somebody to starve themselves even faster and more effectively than they can with the class of drugs that we have right now, what's going to stop them from doing this? And I want to be very clear. I I think doctors for the most part are the most wonderful people. They're very selfless and giving people. My brother is a doctor. He's the most amazing human being. But there are others who don't really care, who have no scruples, who are all about the money. And my fear is that when these class of drugs go smart, they become tailor made so they can work more effectively and faster to achieve what these people want to achieve. As twisted and sick as it is, we're going to see people dying by the dozens. And that's the reason why I'm making this video today, because I feel when I look at some of these women, I feel like we're going to start seeing deaths right now before we even get to the future class of drugs. And so, some of you might say, "Oh, you're not supposed to be talking about people's bodies and stop bullying and body shaming." No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I have to speak up. what I am seeing is not okay and we need to start speaking about it because I don't want these people to die. I don't want young girls to look at images like these and think, "Oh, that's normal. That's what a normal female body is supposed to look like. That's what I need to strive for." Please don't. Please, please don't. We need to let them know this is not normal. This is not okay. and we need to get help for the people who are going through this. I wish nothing but the best for Ariana Grande. I love her. She's one of my favorite singers of all time and I want her to be well. And so if making this video is is making people uncomfortable, good. So, you know, let's get loud. Let's get the word out and let's save some lives. But now, please let me know what you think [music] about this topic. Do you think things are getting out of hand or do you not see anything wrong with it? Thank you so much for watching this video. Please subscribe to my channel. Like I said at the beginning, thank you so much for helping me get to 4,000. Let's keep going. Let's keep growing. Um, leave a like if you enjoyed this video. Please share it with others if you thought it was interesting and it also helps the channel to continue to grow. Um, what else? While you're here, watch other videos on different topics that [music] I have covered. Once again, thank you so much for watching and hopefully I will see you in the [music] next one. Bye. [music]
