My People Have Suffered

I've been running for a very long time now and I'm starting to get tired. Every day I keep running up the hill, but I never seem to reach the top. Instead, we can radicalize them into more wholesome forms of extremism, such as building housing that they can own and live in. A single person with an ordinary chainsaw can cut approximately one cord of studwood in 4 hours. A single person with a portable sawmill can process a court of logs to yield approximately 400 board feet of lumber in 5 hours. A 600 ft house will require approximately 4200 board feet to complete its construction. Therefore, a single person working alone can manufacture enough lumber to build a 600 ft house within 100 hours of labor. It takes approximately 1,500 man-hour to complete the actual construction of a 600 ft house and an additional 150 man hours for a simple slab concrete foundation. The total man-hour required for each house is therefore 1,750 hours. A typical forested area in Canada contains on the order of 20 c of wood per acre. A sustainable long-term harvesting rate of approximately one cord of wood per acre per year could be sustained for the foreseeable future. According to the government of Canada, the Canadian land mass has on the order of 900 million acres of forest. Therefore, the maximum sustainable tree harvesting rate for the Canadian land mass would have an upper bound of approximately 900 million cords of wood per year. 900 million c of wood per year would produce approximately 360 billion board feet per year, giving a theoretical maximum rate of lumber production that could supply the construction of 85,600t homes per year. With a workforce of 3 million men working for 1 hour divided by the time it takes to make one house, the result is 1,714 houses, which for the time of active works out to one house every 2.1 seconds. With a workforce that only works 8 hours per day, this comes out to a rate of one home every 6.3 seconds. For an annual housing production rate of 5,4,880 homes per year, the goal will be to sufficiently increase the housing supply to decrease the market cost of a house from $686,000 in 2025 to $200,000 by 2027, with a further decrease to $20,000 per home by 2029, arriving at a total excess housing inventory of 18 million unoccupied homes by 2031 and a market housing rate of $1,000. But this won't be easy. In addition, we'll also have a cafe called the Cozy Bobin, a sewing machine shop cafe, which will be a social venue where lonely, depressed young women can receive life advice and social support from elderly women who have lots of love to give but no one to give it to.
