I started Muslim money matters because I realized that there is a great need for financial literacy in Muslim community. When it comes to our daily transaction, what we do with money, how we enter into the contracts, how do we build business? Anything regarding business, finance, economy, money matters is the idea that should help Muslims be confident in how they're making their business decisions. It's the time for Muslims to rise up to the challenge and offer and shape this economy that supports our way of living. And I think Muslim contribution is invaluable in these times in these times when we see approach to economics that is purely just numbers driven that is driven by greed and is lacking ethical foundation that will restore basing integrity of our economy. So, Muslim money matters is really not just about understanding how these transactions are supposed to work, but it's there to guide us in how do we think as a contributors to our economy. As the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said, the best of you are those who benefit others the most. How do we become people who solve the big problems in society whether that is from technology, medical standpoint of view, food and so on in sustainable way something that is a blessing for everybody around us. So, Muslim money matters aims to really bring that perspective. How would a righteous person manage the money, manage economy and conduct himself or herself in the world that we are living in? The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said the time will come and people will not care how they make their money whether legally or illegally. And we don't want to be from those people who don't know or don't care to know about how they're making their money because this is going to be a question on the day of judgment.
