the average Floridian pays about 1800 bucks a year in state taxes that is the lowest in the country but we can do even better and we will last year the Florida legislature cut taxes by a half a billion dollars it's one result a billion dollar Surplus between last year and this year we will propose a tax cut that will exceed 1.2 billion dollars just look at January of this last year Florida was the number one state in America for job creation and our tax policy is a big reason why but this is no time to be complacent this year I will ask the legislature to pass a 690 million dollar tax cut benefiting the people of Florida this year the back to school tax is not safe the business rent tax is not safe space and Military Support tax is not safe the farm tax is not safe the cell phone and TV tax is not safe
