The Ultimate Hyprland Setup: ML4W OS 2.11.1 on CachyOS (Single Command!)

In this video, I will show you how you can install my Linux for work OS in the latest version 21.11.1 on Kios. I'm here on CIOS based on KDE Plasma. Um I have installed it from the Kachios homepage. Just click here on download and select the desktop edition. When you then launch the ISO in a virtual machine, make sure that 3D acceleration is enabled and then you can run CIOS. First of all, let's open the browser and open the my Linux forwork OS homepage. my.com/OS and you know that before you install it on your system you can test my notes to work OS with a live ISO that you can download here. When you scroll down you see here this section an installation command for the stable release an installation command for the rolling release. Let's install the stable release. I copy that command and I open the terminal. It's electricity on CIOS and here is electricity. You see here on CIOS that fish is the enabled shell and the command to install the myinos work.files is a bash command which doesn't work on the fish shell. But there's a trick. You can just enter bash to switch from fish to bash. And then you can execute the command control shift v. And you have the command copied into the terminal and you can easily start the installation. Let's close the browser and you see that we are here in that profile. It's a new installation my lens OS in version 2.11.1. Do you want to proceed? Yes, I want to proceed. And now all dependencies will be installed. Kachios is a great starting point for [snorts] Hyperland and and especially if you are an Nvidia GPU user. Then you can set up your Nvidia drivers completely up front that everything is up and running. And then on top of this stable system of [snorts] your installation, you can then set up my Linux work OS and the installation is done. Great. So we can reboot the system. Now we are booting up into our fresh my Linux for work configuration. We select CIOS. in grub and now we can select here in desktop sessions hyperlend and we can log in with the user into the hyperlend session. Welcome to the Minu OS in the version 2.11.1. Perfect. It seems to work. Let's close in the background the welcome screen of Casios and we can set up 2D in my case. And let's change also the screen resolution to 1920 to 1080. Here we are. and click on apply. I'm in a virtual machine. That means I have to log out once and log in again. And then I have the correct screen resolution. And you see already, let's close the welcome screens again that I'm on the latest Hyperlink version 0. 54.1 and my lungo s is now supporting the latest version of hyperlink. [clears throat] So let's see what's new here. When we open roy you see we have a new icon set. It's a kora icon set. When I open files you see also here in files and nautilus that nice icon theme enabled. Super key shift W will change the wallpaper. Let's change the theme to transparent. You see here that transparent theme for the dock and the status bar. Looks also very nice with super key shift M. You can switch to the light mode on the fly. Yeah. With super key shift M you can switch back to the dark mode on the fly. Yeah, this is the latest version of the Melings Work OS in the version 21.11.1. Ready for you to download, easy to install with one command and you can test it whenever you want with the official live ISO. And with that, see you next time.
