Gemini 3.1 Flash Light. This is designed to be a very fast, very efficient AI model. It's also meant to be costefficient if you're using it in an API, if you're building tools with it. I actually built a little app for myself called my YouTube thumbnail swipe file where whenever I find YouTube thumbnails that I think are really impressive that I want to remember for later, I drag and drop them into this little tool that I built and then it looks at the image and describes what's in that thumbnail. If you're just using Gemini as like your everyday chatbot, you're probably not going to notice huge differences. But where a lot of people are going to notice a lot of these upgrades is going to be more on the coding front and the API usage front. When you're building little apps like the one I described, this is great for that kind of

It’s designed to be fast, efficient, and cheap. I’ve already used it to build a YouTube thumbnail analyzer and it did everything as advertised: fast, more affordable, and easily accessible. Have you tried it yet? Let me know in the comments.
