“Be aware of how the 'relatable struggle' narrative is used to build a parasocial bond, making the commercial endorsements feel like a recommendation from a friend rather than a paid advertisement.”

Ask yourself: “What would I have to already believe for this argument to make sense?”

Primary technique

Parasocial leveraging

Leveraging the one-sided emotional bond you form with creators you watch regularly. Because you feel like you "know" them, their opinions carry the weight of a friend's advice rather than a stranger's. Creators can monetize this by blurring genuine sharing with paid promotion.

Instead of setting new year goals this year, I just decided to start off by praying. I wanted to really understand and know what God's vision for me was and what my purpose was as I turned 40. And while I was in prayer, God spoke to me about restructuring my days. After all, the Proverbs 31 woman didn't do it all in one day. She did it over a series of her life. And immediately I thought, "Oh, I don't have to hit all my goals all in one day or even try to do them all in one year. I might be better off focusing on some things today and other things tomorrow." That's where I got the idea of A and B days. I usually try to get a whole bunch of things from different categories in my life and get them all done in one day, [music] but this just started not working too well. Let me explain. I would usually set up my mornings like this. 4:00 a.m. pray, 5:00 a.m. workout, [music] 6:00 a.m. clean, 7:00 a.m. kids, 8:00 a.m. kids, 9:00 a.m. admin, 10:00 a.m. work till 12. But then I started noticing I would go over time on one task and that would bleed into the time for the next task [music] and then rushing or feeling rushed to get the next thing done. So now I'm realizing that I needed to give myself even more time to focus on that one thing. Well, and that's where A days and B days come in. A day is for admin day. On an A day, I will be doing admin, accounting, taxes, checking emails, and working from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Nothing else. And if my kids need anything, they can ask their daddy. Then from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., I'll set a block aside to homeschool my kids. Then there's Bdays. Bdays is for baddy. On Bday days from 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. I will be working out, going to the gym, stretching, getting in that jacuzzi, going swimming, everything to get this baddy bob right. B is also for Bible. So from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. I'm going be in my Bible talking to Jesus, getting it in my whole 2 hours. But it's also for beach day. So I'm going to go to the beach, take my kids to the beach, get them some bagels. It's just all things be. So, this video I'm going to try to do these [music] A day and B days. It's a day. That means that it's admin day. It's work day. It's get busy day. All work. No play today. And while I'm working, my kids are supposed to be working, too. But let's see. What time is it? Yeah, it's it's 10:00. I got to get out of here. Oh my goodness. I just been sitting on this computer all morning long working on taxes. The dreaded tax season, y'all, is here. [snorts] So, I've been doing my accounting and my taxes straight since 4. I said I was going to stop. I was only going to do two hours. Um, AJ came in here and tried to get me to take him to school. I looked up. It had been another 30 minutes. And I looked the gun and it had been another two hours. So yeah, that's what I've been doing all morning, working on taxes. So I'm starting my day late now to actually get up and start homeschooling the kids and start doing my stuff. So I got to clean up this room first. I'm about to show y'all what my real morning looks like. All right. It's okay, baby. I usually make up my bed, but if I can't get this girl to get out of this bed, I'mma have to leave her here. So, these are types of things that happen when I'm working on my computer all morning. The kids make spaces in my room. We made this little camp hideout. So, so for 2026, it's a new year. That means we get a new start to everything that we've fallen behind on and we can try to do new things this year. Things that we didn't get to do last year, I'm going to start doing this year. I wanted to share with you how I do our morning routine for homeschool and what that looks like. So, the first thing I've created is morning baskets for the kids. Let me show them to you. Oh my goodness, these kids have literally >> [clears throat] >> uh created disaster in my room. But here are their morning baskets. And in these morning baskets here is the work that they are considered to be doing on their own. So this is for my first grader. She is supposed to do her spelling, this little math workbook, and then she does her handwriting each morning. She also has her kuman simple edition. So she gave you that every morning no matter what. And then my other daughter has something very similar. She has her spelling book for grade three. And then she has a an additional thing which is a grammar book that she does every morning. And she does her ultimate math book. That's just a review. And she does her kuman. I sat them in my room so that I wouldn't forget as a reminder for them to get their work done. Once they're finished doing their work, morning work in the morning, they sit all their items underneath my TV so that I can check it for them and return it to their morning baskets the next day. It's 10:00 and those morning baskets are still sitting there while they're working it. So, I know they didn't do it. [laughter] They've been playing and building these forts, which is totally fine. But girls, >> yes, >> you guys got to do your morning work, okay? Do your morning work while I clean my room. >> 10. >> Got it. >> Yeah, but you get something easy. >> No. Girls, pay attention. When I'm working every morning, especially when I'm doing morning work, my morning work on my computer, I expect you guys to get out your morning work and do it right away. Okay, that is what we are doing. That is what we were doing at the beginning of this year. And that is what we will continue to do going on to 2026. Do you guys understand me? Yes. No. >> Okay. All they can do is play. Get your books and do your work. >> I also put all of the major things in my room. Like I have the pencil sharpener in my room for the girls to use. I like just having visual reminders around me. So if I don't hear the pencil sharpener going in the morning, I know something's wrong. Okay. So those are the type of visual and auditorial cues that I like to keep around so I know, okay, are people doing what they're supposed to do? So this morning, I know I didn't hear any of that, but I was just too much into my own work to care. [laughter] But you know, that's just how it is sometimes here. [music] So I feel like a lot of what I do in the morning times is cleaning, doing kids homework, doing boring morning work. So [music] I'm like, why should I make this video exactly? I mean, like, all I'm doing is cleaning and preparing for the rest of the day and working on my computer in silence. Like, [laughter] but I don't know. I guess I could give you guys some [music] tips, maybe. I don't know. I want I want it to be valuable, you know? Recently, I've been getting up every morning and making up my bed. That makes me feel good because I go usually when I go out and I come back, I have a perfectly [music] nice clean room and a clean bed. So, I don't skip out on that. And um yeah, let me just keep cleaning so I can get this done. [music] Oh, Uncle made me coffee. Joe made me coffee this morning. He sat it here. I didn't even see it. [music] He makes me coffee every morning. Don't be fooled. This is not Mr. Mrs. Myyers. This is good old vinegar and water, y'all. I just buy the box once a year and then refill it with vinegar and water. [music] Update on my remote controls. So, um I had lost this remote control, so I bought this one. See? [music] But uh now I have a little secret hiding place. I keep them in my drawer and I got two. So when a kid try to sneak and take this one, I still got this one. You know, okay, I'm finished cleaning. I done I did the bathroom. I didn't want to show that. Clean up my room, but um baby woke up. She's so interested in what I'm doing. She didn't want to stay asleep. She barely got sleep. She's like at that age where, you know, you realize that everything's around and everyone's around you. Yes. So, she wants to literally laugh at everything and so she's waking up to see what everyone's doing. >> Mom, pop the balloon. >> Okay. I forgot you were here, buds. You want to take a shower? Y'all watch what happens when I put this baby down? Watch. Okay. Come on. Go to sleep. >> [laughter] >> Why you to cook your head on like that? You're trying to see me. Why you cook your head on like that? Huh? >> Okay. Have you guys made progress? Are you almost done? You're doing your work though, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Are you girls finished? >> Yes. >> Okay. We're going to do a section of corn and olive soon. >> Am I the best sister in the world? >> I got to do y'all's hair. >> But you're supposed to do it first. You're supposed to take care of yourself first and get your work done. You know what I'm saying? What's the first thing you're supposed to do when you wake up? >> I don't know. >> Brush your teeth and wash your face. But then you grab something to eat and do. Okay. All done. You like it? Girls, go get your binders and come on. Let's do this. Let's Let's get this done. Got it. >> You have your pencil. >> Yep. >> Audrey, you're playing games. Come on. Come on. I'm starting with or without you. >> Okay. Do you guys remember what we are learning about? What's the name of the place we are learning about? >> Mesopotamia >> and Babylon. >> Good. And where is Mesopotamia located? On what continent? >> Asia. >> Asia. >> Mhm. And what is it now? What is it called now? >> Um, >> I good. And that is in the Middle East. Can someone get up and point to Mesopotamia for me? >> There's the Tigers River and the Euphrates River. >> Good. And we are learning about the city of >> Babylon. >> Babylon. >> Right. Right. Right. Right. >> Poly >> theistic. >> Say yeah. That >> theistic >> worshiping many gods. >> You guys might remember that Babylon stood on the banks of the Euphrates River and was the home of King Hamorabi. >> Hamura. >> Yes. Hamorabi. Hammorabi was the king. Hanging gardens were built by King Nebuchadnezzar as a gift for his wife who missed the trees and the flowers of her hometown. The people of Babylon were amazed to see that the hanging gardens of Babylon had vines and flowers that hung over the sides. That is the famous Istar gate. Lee tells us circle true or false was the name of the famous river in Mesopotamia. Number seven, Mesopotamians had many, many gods. Number eight, everyone is [music] allowed to go to the top of a ziggurat. >> Okay, good. You are done for the day. Please go. >> Okay, I literally just sat here for another 2 hours working. Joe's going to be so mad at me. He probably misses me. Let's go check on Joe and see what he's up to. Joe stuff. Where are you, Joe? Oh gosh, these kids. My whole house. Okay, the kids are playing over here in the trampoline. My homeschooled kids. Let's see what Joe's doing right now. >> I didn't eat anything the whole day. Joan, I'm going to get so skinny this new year. 26. >> I want to get skinny. Skinny. >> Skinny. >> No, I'm going to get skinny. I'm going to get skinnier than you. >> Elena, you already are. >> That's just my wrist. Those That's just my wrist. I know. Cuz I'm naturally skinny, >> but the rest of me want to plump up. Were the kids Well, actually, were the kids over here when I was in over here? Were they all over you like this? >> No. >> Okay. So, they're just doing this just because I can't. And if I come and sit over here, let's see what will happen. I'm sitting. Okay. Mommy, I didn't get a Gatorade. >> Okay, let's get you a Gatorade. >> I can't. >> All right, I'm going to get you one. >> That's a good idea, >> y'all. These kids are always crawling all over me. No, >> I'm going to get you a Gatorade. >> I can buy myself. >> Oh, ain't no Gatorade left. Maybe we have ice creams left. We have ice cream. You want a ice cream? It's a smoothie. Yum. Yo, I'm so tired. I went to bed at 10:30 and then I woke up at 4:00 to work and then I haven't stopped working and now it's 12:00. >> Let's go eat something. >> What? What? In and out. >> I don't want that. >> That's not healthy. >> No, you're on your um New Year's uh Aren't you doing New Year's things and stuff? >> Yeah. I mean, I'm not doing anything. I want to talk about what I'm doing, but I just [groaning] I want to talk about my resolutions and how I'm reading books and how I'm doing my devotions and I'm trying to lose weight, but I just don't have it in me to [laughter] say anything to talk about. Yes. >> You want to talk about it, but you don't want to say it through your mouth? >> Yes. I just don't have it in me. [laughter] Okay, you guys. At some point today, I will show you the books I'm reading. Okay, let's eat, Joe. All right, our morning is done. It's the afternoon now. And I decided to do one activity for the kids for after school, not to run myself rampant. So, they're doing swimming in our Amazon package came package. >> Our Amazon package. >> It's just what we have for Amazon. Let's see what came. So, we have swim caps of all different colors. And what do you think these are? >> H. >> And these are goggles. But I'm taking the stuff out to the car. >> I want this one. Should we tell Audrey? >> Yes, we should. And is the baby not going to come with us or is she? >> Yes. >> Okay. Look what I have. goggles. >> Brand new goggles for swim team wants those ones so you can pick a pair. And then we also have some cats. Okay. >> Do you have any snacks? >> Yes, I do. You have to wait till we get the swim team. You guys can pick your snacks out the shop. I want to bring my baby with me, but I can't because I can't fit her stroller in the car. So, you have to stay here with a boo boo. I'm so sorry, Joe. If I had a bigger car, I could take her, but I just can't. >> I'm sorry, people. >> Your stroller doesn't fit, and mommy wants to have a long time at the swim team. Okay, give me a kiss. Kiss. [laughter] All right. Bye. You see all of our snacks? >> You got chums. >> Yes, I did. >> You got oranges. >> Oranges? Yeah. She got the red jumps. She got raisin. She got veggie straws and graham holders. >> Yeah. Okay. When we get to some team, you guys can pack your bags. Do you have your bags on you? >> Yes. >> Okay, let's go. >> I caught the pink one. >> All right, we got Aai. Now we have to meet AA because I forgot to bring A's swim stuff. >> Then we have to go swim. >> No. No, swimming doesn't hurt your back, >> Mommy. It's basically sunset. >> It is. >> And my stomach >> and that. >> Okay. You probably have a little bit of sickness, but let's see what you can do. You don't have to if you get tired, you can tell them that you don't you need to take a break. >> Thank you. >> No, see this bag right next time you'll have a child. Thank you. Okay, so this is my snack little setup for when we have swim team. I have a whole bunch of goodies in here that the kids can choose from when they are getting ready to go or on the go for swim. So, of course, we have the chs, right? Original and jalapeno. We got raisins. We got veggie sticks, [music] granola bars, we got your apple sauces, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. And I have to do these [music] orders for my kids to make sure they're getting something fresh. You guys, go ahead and pick your stuff. Okay. >> I got these. >> I want help. One protein, one fruit, [music] and one something else. Okay. >> Okay. But mommy, you said I have no fat on me. >> You need some meat on your bones, girl. So, go ahead and get some meat on your bones. >> I'm just going to >> You guys, you're late. Speed it up. Is late >> because she's late. >> Yeah, let's go. >> Go ahead and swim, girl. Be well. Okay. >> Okay. >> Ooh, you're going to be cool, girl. Is that good? Yeah. >> Yeah. >> All right. Is it up high enough? >> No. >> Want it up here? >> Like right here? >> Is that good? >> A little bit. >> Huh? >> A little bit down. >> Like that? >> Yes. >> Awesome. >> Yeah. Go ahead. Go ahead. >> All right. They are all in their classes. Audrey has a swim class, but Aayou is actually a little bit young, so she just swims in the water while we're here. But swim team is so great. Like instead of paying high prices for swim lessons, y'all just put your kids on swim team in the summertime. You can get like the whole summer long practice every single day for like $500. Okay? So, it's a much better deal than putting your kids in swim practice. And they get so much more practice. That's what my mom did with us when we were growing up. We were just on swim team all summer long swimming, you know, 6:00 a.m. in the morning. We had practices every single day and we became stronger and stronger swimmers. So, right now it's like junior guards training for here in California or pre-competitive season. So, I've always wanted to really put them inside of swimming when it wasn't summertime so they could develop their skills. They definitely kind of push back on it, but I know it's good for them. I know when they look back, they're going to be so happy that their mom made them go to swimming practice every single day after school and in the morning cuz they'll be able to swim like other people can't. So, we are almost finished at the end of Aday and I have yet to work out at all. So, I'm going to take a walk while the kids are in swimming team practice right now. I'm going to get a little protein in. Shout out to our sponsor of today's video, Chops, for helping me be able to keep these Aday Bday routines. When I'm in a position where I really can't think about what I'm going to eat today, I'm just like on the go. I'm in work mode. Like today, for example, I barely ate anything all day today. So, Chomps helps me to get a good 10 g of protein in with zero sugars in it. Mad. And it just helps me to stay on my protein goals. This is only 100 calories, so it's also just keeping me on track with my fitness goals. You know, I'm not a big breakfast, lunch, and dinner eater. I'm more of a snacker. And I heard this guy say the other day like, "You're eating the wrong snacks. You're eating like 300 calorie snacks, and that's adding another 900 calories to your meals." And I was like, "Oh my gosh, that is so mean." So, when I pull one of these bad boys out, I know these are only 100 calories, and I'm not going to go 1,000 calories over my goal. It's also really helpful that they're grass-fed and finished beef. So, I know I'm getting something healthy in. But the way I've been using them is like for my kids after snacks when they need to go swimming. For me, when I'm going in the gym in the morning, just to have something to put in my bag, I'm going on one of my daily walks or even like when I'm running out the house in the morning trying to get the kids to school on time. So, let me know in the comments what flavor you guys like. Do you like jalapeno original? And if you want to learn more about Chomps, click the link in my description. [music] Thanks again to Chomps for sponsoring today's video. Okay, so you might be wondering, am I still doing my 10,000 steps a day? No, [laughter] I just had a baby. I'm trying to build it back up. You know what I'm saying? I can't do everything. They didn't build, what did they say? They didn't build Jericho on one day. They didn't build Babylon on one day. I'm taking it baby step by baby step. But I definitely have been getting a lot more steps in. A lot more steps in. So if I feel good, I walk. If I don't feel good, I don't. And that's basically how we're going to do this. You see what I'm saying? So, I feel like a day has been pretty successful. I mean, I feel good. I feel like, you know, I got my work done. I got a little bit of homeschooling and now I'm getting a little bit of a, you know, like a chill workout in. Sometimes I don't walk while I'm here at the pool. Sometimes I just get on my yoga mat and stretch. But yeah, I feel like it's successful. You know, I feel like if I wanted to, I could add a little praise break tonight before I go to sleep. I'm probably going to do that, but I ain't going to show y'all that. Y'all don't need to see that. All right. But tomorrow, I do want to do a weight checkin. I have been being very purposeful about what I eat for the last uh maybe 3 weeks. And what I mean by that is I'm just being mindful of what I eat. I noticed that after I lost all my baby weight, I kind of stopped losing weight and I hit a plateau and I was like, "Okay, what's going on here?" And so, I already knew my problem is I eat when I'm stressed out. I'm eat when I'm irritated and annoyed. I snack. Yes, I'm a snacker. An irritated snacker. So, I just got that idea. I was like, "Okay, wait. Tomorrow I'm going to pay attention to why I get the munchies." So, I was driving the car with my kids. It was making a whole bunch of noise and then I started to feel like I need something to eat. I need something to eat. And I was like, hold on, wait. I was just not hungry 10 seconds ago. Okay, something ain't right. I was like, okay, now I know that this is a trigger for me. I'm irritated. It's near the end of the night. People are getting on my nerves. So, I just paid attention to that irritation. I allowed myself to be irritated. And that happened for like a good 10 or 15 minutes, I would say. So yeah, I just sat there and allowed myself to be irritated and feel the irritation. And it was very annoying, you know, and hearing myself say like, "Oh, you need something to eat. Grab a pretzel." Was annoying because now I'm like, "Okay, I know like I'm just trying to comfort myself so I can be less irritated." So instead of going for the pretzels, what I did was just be in that moment, feel it, absorb it, and just like keep telling myself, "Okay, this is going to pass. This is going to pass." In about 10 to 15 minutes, it did pass. Now, was that did I like that feeling? Absolutely not. But was I actually hungry? Absolutely no. So then I was like, okay, I have to catch myself and just like be more aware of my feelings. When my brain tells me that I'm hungry, am I actually hungry or am I annoyed? Or am I actually hungry or am I thirsty? That's a big one for me. When I get thirsty, I tend to want to eat fruit and so I can replace that with water. So, just by being mindful of my emotions, that has helped me to lose 3 lbs, y'all, in the last 3 weeks. Okay, so I was like, "Yes, it's working. Oh my goodness. [laughter] Don't stress eat." You know, but it's not that easy. Sometimes, you know, you're just in the day. You're just parenting. You're just mothering. You're just working. And it can happen this fast, y'all. I'm telling you, those signals can happen so fast and you can reach for that snack so quick that you don't even know what hit you and by the time you put it up to your mouth, the damage has already been done. So, I really needed to slow down and just listen to myself. I think a lot of times during the day, instead of listening to what we need, we're listening to what everybody else needs. Okay? [laughter] and that can really throw me off and I'm not listening to myself. It definitely isn't easy, but I know if I can just focus on it, I feel like this will work. You know, I used to be really, really, really, really skinny even after I had a zo and [laughter] and there were several reasons for that. One reason is just that I worked out a lot, but I don't really have time to do that type of working out anymore. So, I have to start being more creative of ways to, you know, stay healthy cuz longevity is really just about consistency for me. How consistent can I be at something and how long can I be consistent at something? Because it's not just about like losing weight for right now. It's about maintaining a healthy lifestyle for many, many years to come. Finish. I finished my 5,000 steps. >> Nice. >> Do I look like I lost weight? >> Well, I did. I lost 3 lbs. >> Yeah, you lost three lbs. >> Yeah. Look at baby. She was so quiet on the whole ride. >> Can I have another step? >> No, you may not. [laughter] >> I didn't. >> You ate a whole one. >> But I I want more one. >> Time to go up, papa. Time for opa time for mommy to take a hot shower. So these are the books that I'm reading this year. The power of a praying mom. This is more like a devotional. And it just has things to like prayers for your kids in here. I first read this book, The Power of Praying Wife. I loved it so much that I got this and it just keeps, you know, a covering over my children. Every day I can pray for them. So in the devotional book, it has like a side for the prayer for you and the prayer for your child. So it kind of echoes, you know, a lot of times of things that we're dealing with of our kids and attitudes of our kids and things that are just really not desirable traits that are in them often are the same that are in us, right? So we got to look at ourselves first. This little book helps you to do that. Um, so it has like a prayer for mom and it says, um, "Lord, help me to know the truth." Okay? And it comes from John 14:16-17. And it says, "I will pray the father and he will give you another helper that he may abide with you forever, the Spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him for he dwells with you and will be with you. You guys don't skip this part of the video. This is so important. Then it has a little prayer for me to do for myself which is Lord I thank you that you have given me your spirit, the spirit of truth to be my helper. I long to know you in every way you can be known. So help me to completely comprehend who you are and rely on you as my helper who will always lead me into all truth. I don't want to be a person who's always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of truth. I want to know the truth about who you are because I know you are near to all who call upon you in truth. Teach me how to pray myself closer to you. In Jesus name I pray. It has a little spot down here for me to put my own personal prayer. And then the uh little devotional that goes with it for the child is to plant your truth in my child's heart. Um it says a false witness will not go unpunished and he who speaks lies will not escape. Uh a lot of time in today's world there is just so much information going out there and so many people have their own truth that it's hard to distinguish especially for a child. What is truth? What is actually truth? You know there only can be one truth. There's not your truth and my truth. Well there's your truth. There's my truth and there is the truth. And so for our children to seek for truth is just such a powerful thing. And it says, "Lord, I pray you will help," and you say the name of your child to know the difference between truth and lies. Deliver her from any pride that makes her believe that she knows better than you. I pray that he will have a teachable spirit and submissive spirit and be able to stand strong in truth. Write your truth in his heart and on his mind so he will always walk a confident assurance of righteous of your commands. As she learns to pray, teach her to listen for your voice. May there always be a Holy Spirit fire in his or her heart and unwavering desire for you and your truth. In Jesus name I pray. Amen. So that's this little devotional book. Um it's so quick too and easy. I love it. I really like books that, you know, when you're looking for help for other people, books that help you first, you know, because I feel like, you know, most people know there's a problem, like, okay, I know something's wrong, right? But, you know, to be able to look at yourself first, I feel like it's so valuable um because it's helped me so much. Like, I can see my flaws and y'all ain't got to tell me in the comments cuz I can see them. um I can acknowledge him and you know I'm trying to get better day by day. As long as I um you know can know and repent and try to change that's the best I can do. Let me show you one more book that I want to read this year. So this little yellow book is a parenting handbook and it's called parenting with love and logic. And I saw an Instagram post that this girl did and she said that her mom had read this book and purposefully parented when she was a child. And that reminded me that I had this book. And crazy thing is my mom had this book. What this is, it's just a it's a parenting book that's based on love [snorts] and how to love your child and use logic to parent them. So I've never read it. I want to read it this year. I want to get through it this quarter. So, I'm sure I'll just read it when I take the kids to swim lessons and I'll get through this really fast. So, let me know if you guys have read this love and logic book before. I love this. Consequences don't have to be immediate. I actually read that in here just because I was just looking at to see what happened and that is some good advice. Like instead of punishing your kid or giving a discipline right then and there, you can tell them, you know what, I'm going to deal with the consequence of your behavior later, but right now I have to cook or I have to clean. And I really like that aspect so that you don't have to in emotion uh respond to what they're doing and you can give yourself times to think about it and make a good, you know, a good uh disciplinary choice for them. So yeah, those are my books and definitely going to read this over again too. It's B day. So on B days, I get up and I try my best to ignore any type of work I do and get straight to caring for myself. Also, on these days, I try not to worry about cleaning up too much because personally, that distracts me from taking care of myself because I'm kind of like a neat freak. Okay, so I'm going to take care of myself and clean less. I'm just doing coconut oil on my face today. Where is my swimsuit? Face routine done in 30 seconds. I said I wasn't going to clean, but uh I want my house to be dirty when I come home. Okay, I said I wasn't going to clean up, but I think this is fine. All right, let's go. I need to pick my gym bag. Where are my gym bag towels? Gym bag. Why are there diapers in here? Diapers in my gym bag, y'all. I just have the top for this. The bottom is kind of somewhere, change of clothes, underwear, my new socks. No, I got my towel, but I [snorts] can't find my swimsuit order. I cannot find my workout swimsuit. I got all my clothes in these bins. This is why I need a bigger house. So, I have somewhere to put my clothes instead of storing them out here in these bins. Okay, we're ready to go. I'm just going to grab one of these just in case I need it. All right, I think I'm good to go. Um, water bottle, swimsuit. I don't have my flip flops. Where are they? And flip- flops. Flip-flops. I couldn't find my shoes. Should I bring my daughter's Crocs? Okay. Oh, shoot. Forgot my purse and my keys. I'm so disorganized this morning. I should have got this stuff ready last night. Okay, got my purse. Y'all, I really have been using this Tina purse, though. All right, let's go. I woke up at 5:00 this morning. I was so tired and now it is 5:30. I actually woke up at like 5:15. So, what in the world is all these fingerprint marks on my car? Like, somebody had their fingers all up just smearing their hands all up on the top of my car. Doesn't look like it, but there's actually [music] a gym in here. All the way on the lower level. 24-hour fitness. I promise you guys there's a gym in here. Joining 24/7 Fitness has been truly like a total game changer for my workouts because now I can out at 4:00 a.m. in the morning. I can work out at 11:00 p.m. at night. I never do that. I'm a morning person. So, I can wake up in front of the kids and just stay here for 2 hours from 4:00 to 6:00. Today, I got here at 5:00 cuz my kids wake up at 6:00. I got here at 5:30 today, so I probably don't have that much time. But today, I'm planning on doing 20 minutes on the elliptical and then sitting in the jacuzzi for the rest of So, today is Bday and what I'm focusing on is my baddie body. Okay, so I'm finished my workout. I went to workout for about 2 hours this morning at the gym. I got everything in, y'all. I was rolling on a roller. I was stretching. I got my step machine in. I got my bike in. I even got in the jacuzzi. And so now, obviously, I still have work to do. So, um, I've been doing my work for a couple hours now. [crying] [laughter] >> What you looking at, girl? You like working with your mommy? Yeah, you do. Yeah, you do, baby. Yeah. You want to show him you could talk? You want to show him you could talk? >> [laughter] >> Okay, so on V days, I do still have to get work in. Um, I've been just sitting here at my computer editing this video for you guys for the past hour and 30 minutes or so. I'm still trying to figure out this 8day BTO system, but when I was doing my like devotionals earlier this year and asking, [snorts] you know, seeking God to figure out like how what should I be doing this year? The first day I tried to like go in my bathroom, like work out, to get on my Bible, and it took so long, y'all. 3 hours wasn't even enough time. The morning was going past so fast. So, I was like, I am not going to wake up tomorrow morning and do this again. So, I was like, "Okay, I need to do something where like I can still get my workout in, but then the next day I'm not going to do that." So, that's when I got the idea of like a day bday. One morning I will wake up and I will get all my work done and the other morning I wake up and I will focus on all of my health goals. So that way I can focus on it more in these long time blocks and then trying to like cut up everything and make sure I get work done, get exercise in, read my Bible, get enough water every single day. What you talking about boooo? What you talking about boooo? And I'm still trying to figure everything out. So I'm thinking like I don't know baddy and beach day. Like I become a baddie. I do all my batty girl stuff and then I go to the beach or I was thinking about batty and Bible so like I can take alone time doing my devotions today. But I'm just realizing what works. What are you talking about girl? Huh? What are you talking about? Huh? What you saying? Say something. [clears throat] [groaning] Yeah. You talking? You talking? And she can use her hands. You can use your hands. You can use your hands. You can use your hands. I'm more focused on my morning than what I do in my afternoon or evening times. Want to go dada? Da here. You want to go da da? You see da da. You got to take her babies. >> Go. Go. Daddy. Go. Aa. Go. Aa. [laughter] She's so funny. Yeah. Yeah. I'm still trying to figure it out. So, um I'm just going to keep some notes of like kind of what I'm doing today. Today at least I think I'm going to do Baddy and Bible. And then I had other ideas. I was thinking like when I come back from the gym in the morning on my B days, I'm thinking, you know, I can also like stop by the bakery and like get my kids donuts or bakery items because I'm basically gone the whole time when they're getting ready for school. And so they know like, okay, if mom's gone in the morning time, then we know we're getting some type of treat, some type of donuts or bakery item when she comes back. Maybe on my baddie day, I could like cook dinner for the house because Joel usually cooks. I usually don't cook, but maybe because like I get up in the morning, I already have my clothes on and everything. I come back from the gym, I can go ahead and cook like a crock-ot dinner or something like that. But then I was thinking I could do that on a C day cuz C could be for Crock-Pot dinner. And on a C day, what I was going to do is take care of my self-care. So that's like taking my everything showers. Um, making sure I keep good track of this phase. Okay. Maybe cutting my hair. And then on C days, I would do Crock-Pot mail. So, that's what I think I'm gonna do. I think I'm going to have A days, B days, and C days. It's a work in progress. So, me and Joe are about to have a meeting, [laughter] our our YouTube meeting where we figure out who's doing what for this week. So, you ready, Joe? >> You really are recording everything, aren't you? Yeah, I said I was going to record everything. Okay, so Joe makes my coffee for me every morning. You guys, this is really luxurious. Luxurious because I don't even have to make my I don't even have to think about this. It's just handed to me. And Joe, the days you don't do it, I feel so lost. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> All those days that you don't even drink your coffee. I make you coffee and you don't even drink it. You just let it sit. >> I sip it. I sip it, boy. I sip it. >> You forgot our morning kiss, though. >> Our morning kiss. Okay. Yeah, I did. Or you did? >> I didn't forget. Mhm. >> You want one, too? Give me kiss. Give me Give me >> I miss you. [laughter] >> What? What's so funny? >> I knew you was going to be sad. >> No, I'm not sad. It's the opposite of sad. >> What is it? Uh, reminiscent. >> I mean, I knew you was going to miss me cuz I've been doing my work all morning. >> No, I don't mean that. I mean, I miss you. [laughter] >> I miss you. >> Why are you laughing? >> You're over here trying to have another baby. [laughter] That's not >> You're not going to put this in the video, are you? H get [laughter] off of me. [music] Although it's not the last time. I want to work for you tonight.
