going to be here doing stuff, organizing some stuff, not talking very much. Figured I'd be here for questions and stuff. People have questions. I'm also trying something different. I'm trying to stream at a higher resolution. Uh I was like looking through my video and I noticed that it didn't the video resolution didn't look as good. So, we're just putting that out there in case somebody has notices anything. Hey, Bel. Let me know if you can hear my music bleeding through. I'm listening to music. One of the great things about this mic is I can turn music off. So, I can actually listen to music without you guys hearing it. I have the Sundays. I definitely have the Sundays. I sound a bit better. I'm okay. A little bit. A little bit better. I don't know. Yeah, it was a great day outside today, which kind of sucked. I wanted to go outside, but I can't. I'm just kind of sick. Should we stream to co-working or should we stream to science and tech or should we stream to software? I just keep it science in check. >> Changing it. I changed it. I hate it when you change it. It says it's offline. Like it totally screws up my my thing. You can't see it, but it's uh it messes with my my stuff. I'm just I'm not going to be talking mostly. I'm just going to be coding. Oh [ __ ] Am I dropping frames? No, no drop frames. Oh, yeah. I am. I did. I dropped a lot of frames there. It look like I'm trying to I'm pushing 12,000 kills for a second. Yeah, I think Twitch might actually have a problem with that. So far, Twitch freaked out yet? I don't know. We're going to see what Twitch does. Apparently pushing 12K is the the goal for YouTube if you want to get smooth YouTube video. Uh you like really smooth video, high details and stuff. I I don't know. Twitch twes up line. Yeah, I'm like way over the bit rate. Uhhuh. We're going to find out. The problem is is I can't have a bit rate for Twitch and then a different bit rate for uh for YouTube. I have to have one for everybody. Rock Islands. Yeah, I know. I know. 6,000 is the max. I know that Twitch's max is 6,000. Yeah. I mean, I think I don't know. I wonder what will happen. But I mean it makes the YouTube the YouTube stream stuff is way way better now. 12K terminal stream. I mean, I could do less. All right, let me go back to six. I'll go back to six. I don't want to get Twitch blackballing me. I'll be right back because I've heard Twitch can do that. So, but I just noticed that I noticed that my stream to YouTube sucks. If you if you look at the YouTube stream, it really sucks. I mean, the the terminal stuff's fine, but the the like the video like the the actual video down in the corner is really bad. So, well, I mean, we can test something. I tell you what, let's I'll I'll do the streams tonight for like an hour or so, and then I'll go check it out and see see how good it is. Um, but apparently the the trick is to stream 4K even if you're doing 1080p because it'll down sample and it'll do it. It'll do a better stream that way. Apparently that's the way to get good high quality live streaming to YouTube. The reason this is important is because today's three-hour video is the video, right? So, I want the YouTube video to be the highest quality one because that's the one that's going to stick around. And if this if this doesn't work, then what I'll end up doing is hitting record and record a three-hour video and then upload that video, which is going to be a pain in the ass. No, I moved. I'm in Logan, Utah, in a brand new apartment. [snorts] Then I flew back to North Carolina to meet family and stuff, friends. decided I'm going to move back probably in September. I [snorts] don't have anybody here. [cough] Sorry. I'm so sorry. Nobody in Logan, Utah anyway. I have a few friends, but nobody that would help me move my couch. You know, I hardly know them. I mean, I know them, but but not enough to, you know. >> So, Yeah. Yeah. Oh. Anyway, what YouTube seems to be seems to be key framing or something different encoder wise like on Twitches. You don't notice the key framing. Yeah, I know. Let's change it. I'm going to set it back. I'll set it back. Give me a second. Output, uh, 1080p. You know what? Forget it. It's mostly audio anyway. It's just the the mini videos that I make, those will be high quality like we did last time. The the high quality videos when you upload them, those are good. The things that aren't good is the live stream. Live stream is not is not good. All right, I'll be right back. >> I I had issues in the old apartment. I did. I did.
