[Applause] 38-year-old Kla Harris came out of nowhere and was swept into office as San Francisco's district attorney. >> Attorney General of California, Kla Harris. >> Senator Kla Harris, >> Vice President Kla Harris. >> I am now officially the Democratic nominee for president of the United States. This campaign is about who we fight for. We believe in a future where every person has the opportunity not just to get by, but to get ahead. Because ours is a fight for the future. Are you ready to get to work? I promise you, I will always listen to you. The future is always worth fighting for. You guys are doing hard work here. You know, you may be the first to do many things, but make sure you're not the last. I am here to say while I concede this election, I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign. The fight for freedom, for opportunity, for fairness, and the dignity of all people. A fight for the ideals at the heart of our nation. The ideals that reflect America at our best.
