Analysis Summary
Moral framing
Presenting a complex issue with genuine tradeoffs as a simple choice between right and wrong. Once something is framed as a moral issue, compromise feels like complicity and disagreement feels immoral rather than reasonable.

No, the thumbnail is not clickbait. I had a once in a-lifetime opportunity here and that is what this video is all about. Hi, my name is Brian and I'm the high pop professor. And right now I am traveling a little road trip all the way across the state of Pennsylvania through West Virginia and we are now into Ohio. heading to a small town called Caldwell and I'm about 20 minutes away. And the reason why I am uh road tripping out here is because I was notified by a hobby buddy of mine, Bill, the Hall of Fame collector, who had caught wind that there is a very large Greg Maddox collection that has come available that we're going to go take a look at. Um, and so I'm I'm very excited, kind of nervous, uh, to be able to see this collection, uh, help this guy out. Uh, he's the the guy who who inherited this collection, as far as I'm aware, is is not like really well-versed in cards. And, uh, so we want to help to educate this uh, this gentleman and uh, make sure he understands what he has. uh admire the beauty of this collection and uh and also hey if the uh if if the price is right maybe we can uh add some very rare very big cards uh to our respective collections. This could be a very exciting fun day. I I'm really looking forward to it and um we're going to follow up with some more pictures and videos about this amazing collection. So how did this come about? Well, as with most of my very largest PC pickups, I got contacted by Bill, the Hall of Fame and Collector. He calls me up and asks, "Are you sitting down?" At the time, I happen to be sitting down to to lunch, but when he asked when he asks me that question, I know it's real. It's about to get real. and he proceeds to tell me what's going on. And here's the situation. Two weeks prior, there had been a mysterious eBay member that started one evening going nuts, dropping these insane Maddox cards one after the other after the other. They were all lowumbered, low serial numbered, early 2000s autographed game used patch cards, jersey cards, late 90s rare, rare inserts, extremely low number. We're talking like gosh, it was like fractal materials, plastic die cut number to 20, like two of them. I mean, just ridiculous cards. And they they were they were expensive. Kramer's Choice purple speckled numbered out of 10. I mean just insane cards. Who is this guy? Where are these cards coming from? And so Bill being the ninja that he is figured out what happened. And that is that there was a very massive player collector who collected Maddox who had died. And this collection had just gotten inherited by somebody. And this somebody didn't really know like a ton about cards and was looking to move this collection. And apparently they had bought a table at a show and had set out some cards there. And having talked with this gentleman, you know, he had someone I mean everyone's crowding around his table. someone offered him money for his entire showcase, his entire table and offered him $17,000 cash for it when he was really only expected, you know, well, they kind of said, "Well, how much do you think?" Well, how much do you think? And he's like, "Well, you're offering." And he kept throwing it back because he honestly really didn't didn't know what he had. And he was about to offer like 5,000 or 10,000. Didn't want to scare him away. and the other guy, the purchaser, offered him 17,000, which we to this day, I still don't know what was in that showcase. But the fact is, Bill was able to contact this guy and he he sent me two pictures and Bill was able to talk him down and because this guy sent him a picture or two and Bill just said, "Stop. Just stop. Don't list any more listings. Don't throw lots on eBay. Because what he was doing was he was he had all of these all of these parallel runs, rainbows, like complete rainbows for sale. All the cars that looked the same, listed in the same lot. Uh, and he was he was listing them that way. But but we're talking about like he had he had the out of 199, the out of, you know, 100, out of the 75, out of 50, out of 25, out of 15, out of 10, like all the colors and like they were insane. Just insane rainbows and and no no casual collector just has these kinds of lots. Th this is this represents you years of dedication, serious time and effort, work putting in to meticulously build a collection of this caliber. And and that's not how you go about selling something like that either. And it's it's rough when you know you don't know what you have. And that's what Bill tried to explain because some of these cards and these two pictures I'm going to post these pictures here. the two that I was seeing here. So, the first picture I'm going to go ahead and show. This was the second picture. Um, this gives an just an idea sort of the scope you're looking at. Uh, turns out the collection that we had, they were probably like three or four big tubs, like sterilite uh plastic tubs filled with all kinds of stuff. We had about five or six big binders just uh just full full of cards. There were four or five of these 5,000 count boxes just chalk filled with toploadader cards, but but again like some of these cards were were, you know, basically, you know, base cards and and then just mixed in. You would have 2002 tops chrome black refractor. You'd have a, you know, an '05 top's finest gold X refrator numbered one out of 10. you would have star rubies like they're just mixed in and and then the other picture. This is actually the first one. Um, well, I'll take a look. And we're talking we're talking star rubies, multiple PMGs, uh, molten metal fusion titaniums out of 50, uh, sup upper deck MVP super scripts. We're talking first day issue refrators out of 25. I mean, this guy had had the the most bonkers collection of of Maddox cards. I just in the two pictures that were there and this was like a small like a small sampling of of what this larger collection was and the prices on those stickers that I I I don't know where he came up with these prices and and some of them were you were decent, you know, and and some of them were were a little high and and and some some of them were just frighteningly low like give the house away low like you are in danger. you you you you you need help. You need assistance. You're you're out of your league here. And that is what Bill tried to talk in, you know, communicate to this guy. His name was Will. And and so he entered discussion with him and we come to realize he's in Ohio. And you know, Bill and I, you know, I'm I'm in Philly and and Bill's not that far from me, you know, hour or two away in New Jersey. And and so we say, "Look, can you meet us? You know, we're very knowledgeable about these kind of things. We can help you figure out what you have. And also, you have some insanely awesome stuff and we're both Maddox collectors and would be interested in a yes, helping to educate you, but also b potentially purchasing some of these at at a fair at a fair price that works for both of us. And so we agreed to meet. So we took the road trip and Guys, this this collection, this guy, whoever this collector was, I still don't know who who the original collector was, but this was a a dedicated, meticulous, meticulous player, super collector. Honestly, the collection, it reminded me of my dad with Barry Bond's cards. Um, you could tell because as you're looking through this binder page, you see all the variations are there. You have a a base card, then you have the chrome card, then you have the chrome refractor, and then you have the chrome refractor like with and without the R designation on the back. Like every variant that exists was like there it was. And so we met in a random hotel room in Ohio. And that was interesting, too, because like, you know, we're going to we're going to drive, you know, seven, eight hours to meet some stranger in a hotel room carrying a an uncomfortable amount of cash with us. Um, and so we ended up texting. I texted my wife this particular picture which uh just to let her know that hey, we're we're okay, you know, everything's going great. Everyone's having a good time. And and yeah, and so we we spent the morning going through this collection from about 8:00 a.m. till about noon. And I I tell you what, we I mean, we're we're we're pulling up comps. We're we're looking at last completed sales. We're we're talking about all kinds of stuff. Um and we're making deals. And by the end of that morning, we took the entire collection. The entire collection. Now, to be fair, there there was a smaller set of cards I was interested in. And well, I'll let Bill talk more about this when I'm sure he's gonna make a follow-up video. But Bill took the lion's share of quantity. But we both got insane quality as well. Um, I didn't feel like I wanted to come back into my house with all of these tubs, all of these extra binders, all of these extra 5,000 count boxes of cards, all in brand new top loaders, by the way. And so it's like a Anyway, and so here I have and and again this is this is crazy. I I I can't stress enough the the qual if you saw the pictures you you you should have some idea of what's coming. But I could go to two shows a year, two card shows a year for the next decade. And if I returned from every one of those card shows with just one of these cards that I'm about to show, I would consider that show to be a tremendous success. And I got them all in one morning. Now, the problem is, well, I'll tell you what, let's turn the camera around. Let's take a look at what we have. And it's fair to say that I overextended myself a little bit. In fact, well, let's look at some cards first and then we'll talk about the problems that I have, the good ones, and and the tricky ones to navigate. But let's look at some amazing Greg Maddox cards. Okay. So, what I decided to do here, you know, buying part of a large collection like this, um, I really did kind of feel like Chris Su, baseball card collector, investor, dealer in that order. Um, I don't ever buy collections. In fact, I've never spent, you know, I spent $1,000 on a card like twice ever. Um, once on my 93 Finance Refractor, once on my 97 uh Essential Credentials, and that's it. I don't spend that kind of money. Now, thankfully, I had just uh completed a rather large sell-off of a branch of my bonsai. So, I was I was uh you know, flushed with cash uh relatively speaking. But when I looked at the cards that were in that picture and that could be potentially available, I realized that I was a little bit in over over my head. I was a little bit out of my league. And if I wanted to make a play at some of these, I was going to need some assistance here. And so thankfully on the drive from Philly to Ohio, I kind of drove drove right through Pittsburgh, stopped by. And uh thankfully my uh my father of course who lives in Pittsburgh, he's been involved in the hobby for 35 years and he knows very well being a Bonds super super collector exactly what these kind of cards are. He knows that I know what I'm doing. I I hope and uh he was able to assist me with uh you know just just in case I needed it cash and so I will be uh paying him back. But um that comes to the other problem um you know generally speaking of Chris Su you know he spoke not that long ago on a video that was put out by Theo Clinic Collector about um going into debt to buy cards and he had a message or two to say about that. If you're um saying that there's a couple cards that are, you know, in an auction that you want, but they're beyond your budget, what should you do? I mean, I I would say for the for the most part, you shouldn't buy them. You know, stretching your budget if you're just looking to buy a card as a collector is not something I would ever recommend. I mean, if you know, if you're an adult, you can do whatever you want, but I wouldn't I wouldn't sort of ever recommend that. Uh you know, buying something you can't afford should be reserved for things like, you know, medical bills, not not sports cards. Uh, if you are able to sell some of your cards off to be able to afford it, then all power to you. Well, that's a relief. Point is, I guess I'd better be prepared to sell some of these cards to fund the hobby as it were. So, in uh in honor of Chris Su, baseball card collector, investor dealer in that order, um we're going to go ahead and start with the low rollers, then move on to regular rollers, and then some of the high rollers type items. Yeah, it's funny. We we uh Bill and I we we thought about doing a uh sort of a spin-off of Chasing Cardboard, but um in any case, yeah, so there's all sorts of this stuff. Here's a Pacific Aurora. And this is a cube from 98 Pacific Aurora. So, if you've ever seen one of these before, and this one's actually still in the shrink wrapping, which is just kind of nuts. But, uh, yeah, Aurora cubes. Look at that. Amazing. Uh, and then this was the only other oddball sort of I hate to see use that phrase, but um, sort of non-card purchase. what this was. And this is a Donner's preferred tin that is still sealed. Uh, but this is the limited edition gold tin. Um, and so if you can see, there is a serial numbering on these tins. They only made 1,200 of them for each player. So that's a pretty Now you see the the prices that have been crossed out on this thing. There are actually precious metals inserts in here. The uh and so those are, you know, print run of 100 and uh pretty pricey. But, uh, this being a gold tin, I think I am for now going to keep it sealed. But, uh, but still, it's a really cool piece. All right. And now to move on to some of these low rollers items. We got a couple of these collector's choice gold signatures. A lot of these were honestly cards that uh I had in my eBay save searches. These are anywhere from, you know, $5 to $20 usually, depending on uh whether they're checklists. Uh the ones from 96 tend to be tougher to find. Um and so they tend to be a bit pricier. Here's a subset 94 first day issue for Stadium Club. 95 Stadium Club. We have the silver and the gold winners. These are the uh the redemption cards which are just awesome. We've got Don Signature signature proofs. Now this is a checklist and so it's not the base card, but still only 150 of them made. So, it's a pretty tough one to come across. So, there we are. We have a desert shield from 91 Tops uh of questionable authenticity. I'll have to see about that stamp uh in greater detail. Then we have a couple of gold medallions from 96 Ultra. These have pretty tough pack odds on them. They're not really expensive. You know, you could probably get them for, you know, probably 20 bucks or less. Probably closer to 10. Here's a mirror image atomic refractor from 97 Bowman's Best with Carrie Wood and John Smoltz and Chris Benson. We've got Diamond Producers. Another cool ultra insert that I just didn't have. Another artist proof from Pinnacle Afficionado 96. There's the little stamp. Very hard to see. Then we have the E exceptional, the Jambalaya based inserts here. um numbered out of 1,999 and 9999 for the green. And this actually number one, it's a bookend. How about that? And out of 250 for this one. How about that? We got a really cool uh minor league Peoria Chiefs card that says Mad Dog. It's actually a McDonald's uh card if you believe that. So, that's pretty cool. Minor league card. Um, and then another artist proof from Score 97 score. And we have a gold press proof from 98 studio numbered out of 300. Um, and these two are in card savers because as I'm going through, if I think there's potential that I might want to get some of these graded, uh, I think they would grade well. I'm putting them pulling them out. Uh there will be a grading a heck of a grading analysis video uh coming up relatively shortly because I have some important decisions to make like who to use for grading. It's not obvious. Um I'm strongly considering using Beckett for some of these cards. Uh we'll talk more about that later. I'm going to strategize about what to do um after this. Let's move on to the regular rollers cards. And you got to love this. I I love this card every time I see it. I got this um possibly as a condition upgrade. Mine has a weird little surface indents in it. Uh this one does not. And so I think this might be a better copy than the one I currently have. So that'll be great. 97. This is a new Pinnacle Green Artist Proof. Tough card to get. All right. This one is There's a couple different tiers of the Molten Metal Fusion cards. Uh this one is the mid-level one that is out of 500. And so great card, absolutely lovely. This is a sneaky card. This is a blue from 96 select certified. It is um it is not serialn numbered with a print run of 180 and deceptively low, deceptively tough to find for a 96 issue. And yes, it still has the peel on there. Now, this next card, there's a couple of cards in here that are ghosts, and they're not expensive, per se, but they are almost impossible to track down. And I'm really excited to show you this. This next one, this is a 99 prism red, retail red formatics. Yes, the condition has some issues here with this foil sort of becoming uh somewhat bricked. Um, tough tough card. Uh, print run of 123 cards made, although not serialn numbered. But again, with it being a retail release and kids getting these things and not knowing what the heck these even are, that tracking these down and and the number that have actually survived is um, I mean, who knows? Who knows? But that's a great card. Would not want to grade it, but I'm going to put that for sure in a Mag Pro. You can bet this next one falls into almost the similar category. Yes, the tops MVP promotion print run of 100, which again for uh for a flagship set of this size. Uh a card that only has 100 made of course with a sweep stakes entry form on the back. Unbelievable. Um yeah, a fantastic addition to my collection. Then we've got a 99 top stars and steel gold domed holographic. Oh man, I can tell you for someone who likes shine like I do. I didn't I didn't have this one. Stars and very heavy. Very It's like bubbled on the front. It's a like a Oh man, I love it. This next one strange. This uh this could be in a in a high rollers one, but um I'm not very familiar with this set. Tops triple threads. This is from 2006 and it's a triple triple memorabilia card with Maddox Cary Wood, Mark Prior. It is numbered three of three on the front. Um, this is kind of beyond my purview. I am looking to probably sell this card. Um, but it would take a very special kind of collector, I think, who would be really into something like this. But let's go ahead and finish up some of these, including some of the ones, as you can see, that uh probably have strong grading potential. All right. So, this is a 96 uh leaf signature platinum press proof. Um, again, not serialn numbered, but limited to only 150 made. And so, this is a really it's really strong condition and it is really tough to locate these. And so, really pumped to get this one. Then, of course, we have 98 stadium club triumpvirate. And this one is the illuminator. This is one you can see through. There's my hand. And it's got the refractor finish. Not that you can see it all that well, but it's there. Looks very strong to me. A lot of die cuts. And so we'll see how that goes. This is now the third time um that I've had one of these. And if I unless I miss my mark. Here we go. Uh just today, in fact, I went ahead and peeled this. Yes. Top's finest protector. I did I peeled it myself. And the reason why um was because the peel was already coming off in the corner. It was starting to peel up and so I went ahead and just finished it up. And boy is that beautiful. Look at that card. All right. Then we've got the uh metal universe. We got this uh lynch pins from 99 metal. It is amazing. It uh looks incredible. I love all these. These are all little die cuts in here. And so that's just cool. Pumped to get that one. Then here we go. We have the reserve collection. Super tough to get this. And the condition is magnificent. I'm excited about this one. This is fantastic. Love it. Really tough. Deceptively tough to get. Hoham. Circa Rave 98. Circa Thunder. That's what you have. Numbered out of 150, of course. Then we've got the Donris Elite Status numbered out of 24. Look at this beautiful gold card. And we have kind of a goofy one, but it's hand numbered on the front. Four out of five. This is a 2007 Upper Deck Gaudy. And um yeah, again, this is one of those con cards that's a little bit beyond my purview, but I think that someone probably will want it. And so with that, we are going to move on to the uh the high rollers. Okay. And now for the high roller pickups. And so for regular rollers, I was kind of going for low rollers was anything under $50 really. Regular rollers I counted from $50 up to about $150. And for me, $150 and to to 500, I consider that the high rollers. And so that's kind of the value tier I'm considering here. All right. Right. Now, this first one, I don't have much experience with this set from 2003 playoff portraits, but this is the gold version of the card that is the dual memorabilia card with both a piece of game used jersey and game used bat numbered out of 10. And so, yeah, that's um there aren't really comps for that card, but okay, we'll uh we'll see how that goes. But that's the first one. We also have card from 98 Dris Elite. This is the status. This is the generation subset uh of the status is if I can not drop it numbered out of 100. And really every one of the cards after this point is going to be in a card saver one because at some point I am going to probably get all of these graded um whether the condition merits them or not. All right, we have yet another Donress Elite status. Uh this one is the base, not the uh not the subset. Also, of course, numbered out of 100. There it is. Gorgeous cards. Gorgeous cards. Then we have a 98 Star Quest Home Run. Look at that card. And this one, of course, is numbered out of a 100. Tough card. tough card to find, especially with these retail releases, these sort of low-end products, collector's choice and circa and ones like that where a lot of kids were buying them. These become very tough to locate. Then we have, you know, very casually a platinum medallion 499 ultra season crowns numbered out of 50. Yes, these this is not the one without the serial number. All of these have their serial numbers on them. Oh boy. Including this one. A 98 Donner's Crusade green. Lovely card. Lovely condition. Numbered out of 250. These things are bonkers. Now, as with a lot of these cards, these are pretty insane duplicates to have. So, like I already have one of these. I already have one of these. Like these are duplicates. I will 100% be selling one of them. Um, in fact, like I mentioned before, I'm going to have to sell off actually a decent chunk of some of these bigger cards um to recoup. But the good news is I'll make enough hopefully to um you know to pay for the other ones that are in here. So that's that's kind of the idea. All right, then we have Oh, love this one. Fleer Brilliance, Shining Stars, Pulsars. What a card. Double-sided refractor. Not serialn numbered, but tough pack odds. Very tough pack odds. Wow, that is astounding. Now, I love Diamond King autographs. How about a Jersey Kings autograph? This is a 2001 Donris Diamond King Jersey Kings oncard Studio Series autograph with Greg Maddox with a game used jersey and it is numbered out of 50. And this is in tremendous condition by the way, especially for a thick card. Wow. But a card like this, I would consider sending into Beckett, by the way. And not just this one. Uh, speaking of duplicates, here's a duplicate. Atomic Refractor 99 Bowman's best best performers, numbered out of 100, of course. There we are. Incredible. These cards are just insanity. Here we go. 2007 Bowman Chrome red refractor numbered out of five. I don't know value comps for these. I really couldn't tell you. But uh that is a rare card. That is a rare card. Here's a duplicate 96 Leaf signature extended series. Greg Maddox's oncard autograph. One of his very first pack pulled certified autographs. And this is also a duplicate. Fantastic bold autograph. And now how about a 2000 stadium club chrome first day issue refrator numbered out of 25. Just crazy cards. Crazy cards. How about 1999 Upper Deck MVP Supercripts numbered out of 25. Here is a card I never thought I would have a duplicate of, but here we are. 98 select numbers never before released. Look at that dot matrix shine. And tell me that's not an amazing card, especially for a math teacher. Look at those numbers. Incredible. Well, just in case one donor's crusade wasn't enough, how about a crusade purple? Now, this one's a duplicate. So, now I got to compare this with my other purple I have and see which one's better. My other one does have a very prominent refractor line running across the top of it right around here. This one's a little offcentered, but um yeah, I'll make that comparison and we'll uh we'll see. This next one is one that was on the top of my list and I've been seeking it out specifically for quite some time. And now I have my Donress signature Century Marks autograph. Beautiful oncard auto numbered out of a hundred. Wow. Bold auto. Incredible. Oh, I'm getting the chills just just thinking about it. Here's a tough one. 99 Upper Deck Ionics Holographics. Not serialnumbered, but ridiculous pack odds on this kind of a card. And some would estimate that only about 30 of these cards exist for each player. Just crazy pack odds. Unbelievable. And now instead of the high rollers, now we get to the stratosphere level of rollers. And here we go. We have 99 Skybox Premium Star Rubies Spring Fling subset. Look at this card. And this is in tremendous condition. This will be, like I said, all of these cards are going to be part of the most epic pre-grading analysis video that you've ever seen in your life. numbered out of 50 on the back. A very clean card. I think that this card probably has a shot at a nine, which is I mean would be tremendous, but that is unbelievable. The next card is one that I remember when my dad got this one for Bonds and I was a little bit obsessed with it and I thought there is no way I would ever even see the Maddox, let alone hold one in my hand or own one. This is a 2000 Fleer Showcase Legacy Collection. Look at this card. Unbelievable. And it is numbered one of 20 on the back. Wow. Just amazing. Incredible card. And then because we're not done yet 99 Fleer metal PMG precious metal gems and the edges that so typically exhibit that chipping. Of course, they have some of it, but all things considered, this is a very clean, very clean copy. Wow. Oh. Oh, yeah. We're We're not done yet. Whoops. I forgot. Here's another one. Look at this. Skybox Premium. Look at this wild card. Here's another Star Rubies. Here's the base. Star rubies also presents beautifully. It does have a ding, a little bit of a ding in this corner. Just a little. So, we're probably looking at like something in the seven range. It's my guess, but who knows? They sometimes grade very strangely at PSA. Gosh. And then because we're not done yet, the mother lode, the creme de la creme. We have the 98 metal universe precious metal gems. PMG. And the condition on this one, all things considered, looks tremendous. I thought I would never own this card. I thought there would be no way I would own this card. And I, like I mentioned before, just got 10 years worth of pickups in a single morning. Wow. Unbelievable. Wow. The pin wheel effect in the background when you tilt these things. Amazing. That is why I spent over 12 grand this past Saturday. Now, in reality, I had, you know, about 3,400 of my own money there. And well, I've got to find a way now to make up the difference. And so, now it comes to strategy. And this is where I'm a little out of my league because, well, I, you know, I got to pay the piper. And looking at these cards, as amazing as all of these cards are, I'm not going to be able to keep them all. it um it struck me that um that really you know back in 2006 I was in college and what happened was uh the Nintendo Wii was brand new had just released and what I did was I actually bought one as soon as they were released on release day I bought three of them and what I did was I bought three of them for 250 bucks each and then sold two of those on eBay for 400 bucks each and got myself a free Nintendo Wii and effectively I used the hobby to pay for the hobby. It's just that at that time the hobby was video games. As painful as it is, I am looking at using the hobby to pay for the hobby. As much as I love these, I'm looking at potentially, and this is where the strategy comes in, getting these two graded, and I'm hoping to grade these and sell these to effectively pay for this one so I can keep this one. That's what I'm looking to do. Neither of these cards are as nostalgic for me. I have been working on an iconic firsts run. And so this being the very first ever baseball PMG because they did have a year earlier for basketball and and football, but for baseball, this was year number one, 98, they only had them for two years. And 99 Skybox Premium with these star rubies, for whatever reason, they just aren't as nostalgic for me. And so if I can use these two cards to grade and yes to sell to pay for most of this trip and the expenditures on it. The more that I can get the more of these cards these cards I get to keep and that is the goal. Now, obviously on certain cards that are duplicates, like this one and like this one, yes, I will sell those, too. But the fact is, even these cards aren't going to move the needle nearly as much as these massive ones. And so, I have questions. I have never graded a card before in my life that required an upcharge. That is about to change. On March 7th is the next Philly show. I am going to be in attendance to the Philly show and I will be bringing these cards to drop off for grading. I will have all of these cards on me when I go to the Philly show this Saturday. And right now I have some decisions to make. I have some some very serious deciding to do. Do I submit to PSA at a higher service tier, which I've also never done before? And it's going to be a couple hundred dollars to grade cards like these. It really will. and especially this one or do I go through Beckett and it will only take a smaller fee, no up charges to get those graded. You know, that's where I have to sort of decide how I want to go about doing this. And so, this is a good problem to have. Um, I do not I have not ever operate you operated in this tier of the hobby before and yeah, if you have any suggestions for me in the comments, I would love to hear about it. But um but yeah, I'm effectively going to have to delete my eBay app for the rest of the year um you know until this score is settled. But that's okay because I will be involved in the hobby figuring out how to manage and how to um you know gosh if my January you know big January selloff if if I thought that was big uh well anyway thank you for watching and yeah my entire collection has been transformed in an instant. And this is a gigantic moment for me and my collection. So, thanks for coming along and I will see you in the next video.

In this video, I detail an ABSURD collection that BillTHEhofcollector and I went to see and purchase about a week ago! We were happy to meet with Will, the guy who inherited this collection from a recently passed-away Maddux super-collector, and help educate him on what he had by showing previous sales & comps. We made cash offers on the items we wanted and then ended up making deals on more! This collection was MIND-BLOWING, and I was able to pick up cards that I might never have had the opportunity to. I acquired more in one morning than I may in the next decade! ๐คฏ I may have also had to borrow money to buy cards! ๐ฌ๐ I regret nothing! ๐ Enjoy seeing these insane cards!!
