Everybody in ministry is struggling with something. I was lonely and I had a friend that I could go to. [music] That friend created space for us to do something that that wasn't right. This particular area of my life became an addiction. [music] >> Is it lust? Is it ego? Is it pride? >> How you could love me and not be sexual with me and I was too afraid. I [music] was not man enough to just be honest to look my wife in the face and say >> that started [music] to harm your marriage. >> She called me to the carpet and she loved me enough to say this is what I know. Is this true? I should have [music] ended the relationship. If people knew about it, automatically they disqualify you. You're a liar. [music] You have no integrity. And they start to apply one failure to everything that you've done. >> I felt like it [music] wasn't authentic. >> I can be struggling over here and still be great to you. That's where the devil deceived me, but that's where the devil deceives a lot of people. I [music] can love God over here, but not necessarily be loyal to God over here. It happened on and off again for a long time.
