When we think about reverse engineering something, we think about, okay, the thing has already happened or the thing already exists or we've already built the thing or the event and we're now going to go backwards from the main thing that happened or the result and try to see if we can thread together what got us there. Right? And as we go along here, everyone feel free to give me feedback in the chat. But that's what we're doing. So when I say reverse engineering money, I I tried to make it as uh straightforward as possible, but it's essentially reverse engineering and seeing how a group of people actually made money. So you may or may not know this, but in your first 5K, uh there are more than 18,000 people in it. And um more than 15,000 of those people came in in the last two and a half months. That's really remarkable. So it's growing fast. People are starting every not even every day, every hour there's someone starting the 5day challenge that we have in there, which is kind of like the signature offer inside of your first 5K. Okay, so I put this post up, which I hope you can see here. Reverse engineering money. I just did this uh I want to say two like a day and a half ago. Maybe it was on Sunday maybe. Maybe maybe. And I just said, "Hey, if you have earned any money because of what I've taught you, please leave a comment and tell us how how much did you earn? How did you do how did what did you do to earn it? Let me let me get my eyes right. What did you do to earn it? How did you get customers to see it? How did you get customers to buy? and what's the biggest takeaway from the experience? And I said, I may show the answers in a video. So, everybody kind of knew that going in. So, if you the very first comment that happened seconds later was Ray Robinson and he said, "I followed your lovable website prompts and I sold my first website within six days of being here. They agreed to $300." So, you see it has 58 likes. So, a lot of people are digging this, right? And then there are a lot more comments. I made 600 to build this XYZ. So that's just to give you the context of where I got this information for my report. And now I'm going to show you the results. Going to show you the results of this report. And I want you to take notes because this like I got a little like goosebumps when I saw the report when I when I put when I asked the right questions when I put it all together. And then when I put this deck together, I got goosebumps because I was like this is this is unlocking a ton. you know, even I learn something every single day and this is one of those things where I'm like, "Oh, it's great to see this all in one place." It's interesting. I know there's going to be a little bit of like controversy from the results. So, I'm excited to see how we talk through that. And I and what I hope for you all is that you don't have limiting beliefs creep up immediately and say, "Oh, I can't do that. That's why I can't do that." Are we ready? So reverse engineering money, as we talked about reverse engineering, we've already bu we've already done something. We accomplished something and now we're going to look at that and go backwards and see how we made it happen. How real members of your first 5K are making real money. So, first thing I want to show you, and let's see. Are y'all able to see this? Great. Okay. So, the first thing I'm going to show you is kind of like the the spoiler alert. What made money and what didn't move the needle? This is so important. Everybody, please take notes. What made money? So, what we're doing is we're taking dozens of people's responses of how they made money since they joined your first 5K and we're finding out how they did it. Now, this is not everybody who's made money because not everybody responded. But if we start to see patterns, why wouldn't we follow those patterns? What made money? And you can answer in the chat if you're seeing this. Answer in the comments below if you're seeing this later. What made money? You can save any of these things. Selling strategy, not just tasks. So, that was really interesting to me that people, it was selling the strategy behind it. You'll see what I mean in a moment. Bundling services together. This did not surprise me. Bundling services. You'll you'll note that my 360 uh uh signature offer inside of your first 5K is a bundle. You'll note that my birthday bundle was a bundle and it sold a thousand copies of my birthday bundle since October. What is that? Four months. A,000. So, it made me about $10,000 a month for a $45 product because it was a you can't you can't deny it bundle. Is that making sense? And when you think about bundling things, it's not just digital products. It's not just it was bundling services together with digital products. Leveraging past relationships. This is a theme that you will see throughout this deck, this this this um presentation. Moving fast without perfection. This is what stops most people. You know how many people have said to me with great pride, I'm a perfectionist. If you've said, "I'm a perfectionist." Or you've heard somebody say say it. If you've said it, say so in the chat. And somebody just said, "How did you get the what didn't move the needle?" Let me let me let me repeat myself just once. Okay, this information is taken from a survey that I did on your first 5K of current members who have made money by following my program. So, this is a report of that data. So, moving fast without perfection and then following up consistently. This is all going to be borne out later in the deck. You'll see what what we mean by this. But this is the sauce. Okay. Specific problem, clear outcome, direct outreach, warm trust, fast execution. Take a picture of this with your phone or come back and watch the replay to get the information. I'll put this deck up, too. How about that? I'll put this in your first 5K in the classroom. I'll put this presentation up. What didn't move the needle? Branding tweaks and rebrands. Now, when I say didn't move the needle, that doesn't mean it never worked or it wasn't important. Y'all are Are you hearing me? It doesn't mean this doesn't matter. It just means that this side on the green side on the left side is what made the most uh traction, the most momentum, made the most money. So, what didn't really move the needle a lot was a was branding tweaks and rebrands. I talk about this all the time. How many people have sat around for six months because they're worried about what the logo looks like or the color of the font. You feel me? How many times has that stopped you? It didn't stop this group over here of people just like you who are in your first 5K. What didn't move the needle were viral reels and content plans. Nobody said, "Oh, I had a viral reel. I had a viral YouTube video and boom, I was off to the races." It wasn't about virality. It wasn't about a bunch of people seeing stuff. That's why my YouTube 5day challenge is going to be so powerful and go I'll put it back in the chat. It's going to be so powerful because it's it's going to teach you everything you need to know to get started within those five days. I'm going to put this in the chat right here. You all join it. I'm going to um it's going to the price is going to go up soon. It's going to teach you how to optimize for what you're doing. Now, Betsy says, "So far, the only things that complex funnels have done for me is make me stall out." Yeah, good. Alicia says, "This is speaking to me." Okay, I'm going to keep I'm going to keep it moving. All right, complex funnels, as we just talked about, that didn't move the needle. And I teach this, you know, there's somebody asking this question like, well, how do you know all this? Well, first of all, I it's it was said, but second of all, I teach this year round, year after year, over and over again, and that's what is being proven out. Now, the surprising of the strategy versus task, like I I like that, you know, that I can still be a little surprised, but this is tried and true stuff. Another thing is that didn't move the needle was a big audience building first. Like, you have to go like, should I build this big audience? Arlene, you have a big audience. That's why you're able to make these sales. Come on. First of all, no, I didn't start with a big audience. Everybody starts with zero. Everyone starts with zero that you like. Right? Second of all, no one uh who who answered this question. No one over here who answered the question. I'll show you what I mean. If you're just getting here, you may not have seen this a little bit earlier. Okay. No one here has a huge audience. There are people just like you. You may even see yourself here who just started on your first 5K for free. Well, some people paid $50 because they were founding members, but either way, very low barrier barrier to entry. And they're talking about way more than $50 here, you know. So, don't let this this happens all the time. is like you get this limiting belief and you're like stuck on I'm going to do whatever I can to make this not work for me. I'm going to say whatever I need to say to myself for this not to be plausible for me. Y'all feeling me? That's what most people do. You have to break through that. I'm going to say it till the cows come home. You have to be the person in your life who says to you, "Yes, this can be done. Even though, even though, even though, yes, this can be done because it has. Can you imagine if the people who made the money sat there and said, "I'm just going to believe what I believe." And then to that end, waiting per for perfection. So many people are waiting for it to be perfect, for it to be shiny, for it to be this, that, and the other. And you are just going to be waiting for a very long time for perfection. Perfection does not exist. Say that in the chat. Perfection. And in the comments, perfection does not exist. Perfection does not uh uh perfection does not exist. It is a myth and it is what is holding most people back is this um search for it. Now, what did people actually sell? This is going to be super interesting. And again, take notes. Take note of this if if you're not notes themselves. So they sold websites and landing pages. $300 first website. Ray, we just saw five high-end websites. Jean Mark did five page nonprofit sites. N uh Naz did holiday landing page. And when we talk about these lovable uh websites, I teach that inside of your first 5K and on my YouTube channel, how you can not only how you create a website for a local business or for an author or for whomever, whatever group you're targeting and then you sell it to them. But I give you the prompts that help you do it. like I give you the actual copy paste prompts for free. So I don't you know it doesn't get simpler than that. Another thing that people are selling or members have sold are marketing plans and strategy. This one was really interesting. Again this was really interesting to me how much strategy was sold. Rowan sold a $600 90-day plan. Nisa sold a holiday marketing plan uh plan along with this landing page, LinkedIn rebrand, sales coaching, also coaching and teaching uh $200 AI art sessions, TL sold, sales discovery coaching, nervous system reset, AI lessons, etc. And then digital products which we to often talk about here which are ebooks, prompts, book bundles, affiliate income, being an affiliate with uh uh your first 5K. And I believe this affiliate income was like like a footnote in a in a post like a a comment was like, "Yeah, I made this and oh, I also made 178 as an affiliate." You know, it's like a a a footnote, which is really really cool. Okay, so we're going to keep it going here. Where did the customers come from? Now, this is going to be the most controversial slide, I think. You ready for controversy? So, customers didn't come from cold ads, not from viral posts, but from existing proximity. This is when I say controversial. What controversial? What I mean is this is when your fight orflight instincts are going to pop up and you're going to say, "Oh, well that's it. I can't do this because I don't have any old clients. I don't know any former students. I don't have an email list, right? Am I am I calling you out?" I have to remind you, whether you believe this or not, I'm telling you the truth. Every single person who posted did not believe they already had an audience. did not believe they already had this because they come into the fiveday challenge, the $100 5day challenge, which is free on your first 5K. They come into it and everything is sort of all the things they thought are kind of stripped away and then it's remade and then they go out and they do. And on day three of that 5day challenge, the $100 offer challenge, which again is free in your first 5K classroom. Day three is when all of this comes to the four, right? Everybody's like, "Oh, actually, if I just get my phone out, I probably have a sale." And this has been so many people post, oh, you know, somebody that I knew a year ago who, you know, knew that I did this, they love my new offer. So, old clients, former students, email, small email list. You see this email list of 10. Don't tell me, "Oh, I don't have an email list." Well, Denise has an email list of 10. 10. You could start a school and invite people you already know, just like Golden Girls. invited everyone you know social followers Instagram etc. LinkedIn. If you have 10 or more people on your LinkedIn, you have an audience. If you have 10 or more people in yourself in your phone contact list, you have an audience. Face to face. I love the face to face. I just put a video up yesterday about this where I talk about how I used to sell doortodoor. I used to sell painting by numbers doortodoor. And um because sale a sale is on the other side of a few conversations, a face to face goes a long way. That's why when I say do the website, create a website, I don't just mean like okay, create a website, email somebody. You can do that. People are making a lot of money doing that. But imagine what would happen if you created a web a landing page for a local business and you walked into the business and opened it up and showed it to them. Maybe two out of two or three out of four wouldn't say yes. But what if one did because they're like, "Oh, I can see it in front of me. You're here. You're a real person." You never know. And then school communities. Okay. How they got seen and closed the deal. Visibility. So, this is for the people who are saying, "I don't have an audience." Are y'all still with me, by the way? Because it's a little quiet in here. Are y'all still with me? Is this helping you? Is this opening up your mind to some certain things? Cuz we're we reverse engineering how to make money. I want you to take this information, this 10 pages, and I want you to go and run with it today. I don't want you anybody to have an excuse today. I want everybody to do one thing from this. Okay. So, how did they get seen and how did they close the deal? Visibility. They posted on social. They showed work publicly. We talk about this again. If you want any instruction about how to do any of this, any scripts, any help, um, AI tools, all of that is free inside of the $100 offer, uh, fiveday challenge in the in the classroom. They DM'd people directly. Day three, we talk about this. We teach you how to do this. They dis did discovery texts, warm conversation starters. They talked in person. Old school still works. Followed up. Now, this was really, really, really important. I think it mentioned one more time, but it's followed up. The magic step most people skip. I send out messages. I send an email out or I send out I post on social. And that and what else? Okay, I post on social and then if somebody likes it or comments, you need to get into the DMs with them. And then if they DM'd with you and they responded or if they didn't respond 24 hours later, why not reach out to them again and say, "Hey, I just want to make sure you saw this." Or if they did respond, say, "Hey, were you interested in still talking?" A lot more to it, exact scripts and everything available, but that's the gist of it. Okay, the followup. A lot of people, by the way, when they commented said I had to follow up, and that's where I got it. I'm not talking about spam. I'm not talking about, you know, being annoying. I'm talking about, hey, I believe this is going to help you. I would like for you to make sure I want to make sure with everything you got going on that you saw it. And then they shared in school, their school. So, how they closed, they pre-built trust, old clients, past relationships, existing community members. The sale was already half done. And if you're saying to yourself, I don't have any of this. First of all, you're wrong. I have to tell you that I have not met one person yet, not one, who doesn't have an audience? They just don't know it's an audience. That's why we do day three uh of that challenge. Second of all, doesn't that mean doesn't that make you feel good that in a few weeks you actually if you have like very little uh pre-built trust that you could start building trust? And doesn't it start to make logical sense that oh this is why I need to start blogging. This is why I need to start posting on social or LinkedIn or YouTube etc. This is why I need to start having more conversations with people because I need to have this pre-built trust of people understand who I am. And if you already have like I said before just 10 people that's already something you can start today. You can send out 10 text messages today. the consulting call. Quick consult closed coached discovery strategy conversion equals sale. I always say that a sale is on the other side of a few conversations. Anytime I'm ever worried about money or I'm trying to go to the, you know, go over uh the fence with something, I'm going to jump on calls. to this day, no matter how much I make, that's going to be um it's that secret weapon. And then a specific offer, specific is greater than vague, is better than vague. So, a 90-day plan, not just marketing plan. How long is the plan? A holiday landing page, not just web design, right? Spec specificity, I think that's the word. Now, let's look at the money, money, money here. So, people were making $100 to $200 using a digital product and early testing, lead magnets, prompts, etc. $300 was raise first client and first website. This is very much the amount that I suggested uh when I was doing this training for this lovable website landing page was $300. And you can always start at 150, sell a couple, go up by 50 and so on and make your way. Or you can start at 300 and make your way up from there. Sell it for a,000. You know, make your way up, add $100 each time. Then the strategy plan, that 90-day plan was a $600 offer. Bundled services was a,000 plus. And then a full service bundle was 5,800 as an examp. These are all examples of what people were making. So revenue expanded as you went up the ladder. Small product, done for you service, strategic solution. The sevenstep formula that that they actually used. So this is when we took everything and we reversed engineered it. This is what the part that I got really excited about. They monetized before scaling. They didn't wait. They didn't do a bunch of content and they did didn't have perfect branding. So step number one, they take us you take a skill you already have. You don't have to learn anything new. You already know how to do something or know something has worked for you. That lab framework. Anybody know the lab framework? Step two, package it. Package it into a tight specific offer. 90day marketing plan. Not I do marketing, not uh the soul revival plan. Don't know what that means. But the 90 days to um uh a a cleaner office, 90 days to uh healthier eating habits. These are specifics. Number three, offer it to someone who already knows you. Warm market first because you have that. We spend two days of five. We spend 40% of our fiveday challenge inside the classroom about the $100 offer on this topic. That's how important it is. Step four, start direct conversations. DM, text, call, no funnel required. My favorite part of this and it's my favorite part because even when I was broke and homeless, as long as I had a phone or I could get in front of someone in person, I could sell. And that that kept me fed and it kept like a roof over his, you know, uh very dayto-day touchandgo. But it's what worked. I used to sell uh 30 minute phone calls, 60-minute phone calls to help people with their blogs for $30 each. I would, you know, I would get on calls with people. I would do free calls and find out what they needed and and then upsell them. Number five, close quickly. Don't let momentum die. Move fast. Speed. Money loves speed. Say that in the chat. Say that in the comments. Money loves speed. Deliver fast. Speed builds trust and results. So, you're going to close quickly. You're going to deliver quickly, close quickly, deliver quickly. And then seven, use that result as proof for your next client. Your first win opens the door to all others. If you already have a win that's recent, that's what you need to be putting out there into the world. Even if it has to be anonymous because the person doesn't want you to say their name, that's what you put out. Can you imag Can you do you see exactly that I'm doing that right now? I have results from my clients in your first 5K, my customers. I'm showing you that evidence. I'm doing exactly what I'm I'm saying to do. Biggest hidden insight. People who earn the most sold strategy, not just tasks. Bundle bundled multiple services. So you have prompts, you have a little done for you and maybe you have you're on a call with with them and walking them through something. It becomes extremely valuable. It's the same thing. You just take these different pieces and bundle it together. Leveraged past relationships, didn't wait for perfection and followed up consistently. People learning earning less in this group of people. So even in the group that did um earn I'm very proud of everybody no matter the amount. But it does help to see this right the people who earn less only sold digital products. They did not have hey let me do a a call with you. Let me make this for you. Let me uh walk you through here's a course da da da or a course is a digital product but you know what I mean. They only had like an ebook without heavy outreach. They didn't reach out. they didn't get a lot of people seeing what they have to offer. A lot of people will say, "Oh, oh, I'm not selling." And I'll say, "Okay, how many how many times did you post? How many different people did you reach out to?" And they'll say, "Oh, I sent it to like five people I know and I posted once on Instagram. What do you Why do you think that would bring you a lot of sales, let alone leads, right? You ha it's volume. You have to do the outreach. you have to go and follow up. They they waited for content to work even though content is part of the machine. It's not the machine. They were um just only building audience before they offer. They were just like waiting. Okay, it has to be a certain amount amount of an audience before I can even make an offer. Now, some people might teach you that. I don't think it's real. You need money now, right? Do you need money now or do you need money later? Both. But you also need money now. Right? So, it's like, well, put it out there. Bake the offer. Learn. And then and then this video that I that I did yesterday, honestly, it's so so helpful. Um, about that. So, I think I'm going to put together a little post or a little section of the classroom that's going to have both this video and that video. And then chasing perfection. We've talked about this, right? In their own words, these are some of the things that came through from the surveying. Trust was already there without per perfectness. Now, when you say trust is already there, do not let your limiting beliefs say, "Well, that means they already had an audience." No, no, no. That means that you right now are sitting on a gold mine. you right now have not realized that there is someone who you can uh reach out to who would want to buy your product. Now, GPT is uh I have a custom GPT inside of that um inside of the classroom. And then they had a warm market. So, I didn't say when I did this report, I didn't say make it say the thing that I want it to say. Make it have the results I want and expect. I just said what what is the actual data saying? What are the words saying? And this was coming back over and over again. So, what is your next move? You're going to pick one skill you already have. Write one specific offer around it. Now, the these two parts right here, if you have trouble with it, you don't have you do not not have to worry. All you have to do is go to your first 5K, which is free. Go into the classroom, which is free. Go into the $100 offer challenge and watch day one and use the AI tool in that. You will then have your offer. If you don't have enough, then you're going to list five people who already know you. Message them today, not after branding. Anybody going to do any of this? Say, let me know in the chat. Are you doing these things? Are you going to do this with me? And then number five, you're going to do the work, get the testimonial, and repeat. So, what is the formula? I remember actually I did a call with him early on when I was first starting your first 5K. and he may be here or not, but I just remember he was kind of like, I'm a little it's a little rough right now, you know? I don't know what to do. I need to make some money. And now look, he's like he has all these clients and he's just it's just working. By joining your first 5K and the great programs, the dedication from Arland show up, I created momentum. Soon it would be time to scale more. Love it.
