What's up everyone? It's Fuzzy. Welcome back to yet another WBC recap. If you can't watch every single game, I got you. Subscribe so you never miss out. We have a bunch of games to talk about in today's video. Wait until you see what Mexico did and also Team DR. Those teams look like actual wagons right now. First up, we have Japan versus Australia. Australia's actually looked pretty good so far. They're taking on the juggernaut Japanese squad. It's now the second inning. There's a little two-out rally for team Japan. So, it's backto-back base hits. And now the unicorn is up. Conor McDonald. I guess all of his brothers were in attendance and they were fired up to see their brother get out of it against the Unicorn, the greatest baseball player of all time. Now staying with Otani, the bases are now juiced for the Unicorn. It's the fourth inning, two outs. Robbie Perkins and Dale, they combine for a pickoff to take away. Bases loaded for Show Otani. You cannot make that mistake. That was insane. So, it's 000 knotted up at scoreless a piece after five innings when Whitefield of team Australia had a base hit off the end of his bat. So, he kind of queued it. His third time on of the game already. Now he's got some speed. He's about to flex that. He's off to the races and he's he's causing havoc. He scores. It's one- nothing team Australia. And that's when Japan said, "I bet WBC Masa, he broke out the nine iron. He golfed out a go-ahead two-run Masa mash. He has 19 RBI's in nine career WBC games. I think he's now third all time in the history of the tournament. Like there's only been two other guys with more. He's probably going to pass that. WBC Masa is just different. S is now clutching up for Japan. If I botch some of these names again, guys, I'm really sorry. Shuto, he doubled the left field and it kind of just looked or felt like Australia just ran out of gas. They were trying their best. Sey Suzuki, he's about to walk in a run to make it four to one. Japan. Wait, their lead got cut in half. What am I What am I talking about? Ran out of gas. Here comes the comeback. Alex Hall, another home run. He's a switch hitter. He has back-to-back WBC's with a home run off of Japan. Rickson Wingrove is trying to put the win in his own name. It's now a oneun ball game with their clutch king coming up. Perkins dating back to the last WBC. He's had a bunch of clutch moments and he rolled over. So, team Japan is now 3-0. The Australian team is actually going right now. They're trying to stay alive. So, we'll recap that tomorrow. Again, subscribe so you don't miss out on any of the action. Here we go. Team Cuba versus team Colombia. And I should correct that. A lot of you guys said I was saying Colombia like the university. It's Colombia. Hopefully I said that right. So Colombia. They went up now. I'm just overpron pronouncing it. Colombia. It doesn't sound right when I say it. I'm sorry. But they went up early versus team, isn't it? Kuba. I promise you guys, I'm trying my best to pronunciate as best as I can. So the first lead for Colombia, it went away in a hurry. A three-run home run off the bat of Ariel Martinez. a skyscraper, a towering home run the other way. Luis Patinho, the former super prospect for the Rays who just hasn't really been able to figure it out. He left another one over the plate. It is 4 nothing. I think his name is Arubarena. I hope I said that right. He roped it. He knew that it was gone the second that he connected with it. That kind of set the tone for the rest of the game. Colombia, they tried rallying. There was another miscue in the outfield. Their outfield defense has made two different botch jobs already. The center fielder, I mean, you can see he was chopping his feet. would never want to do that because the ball is just moving up and down, moving up and down. Yeti Cape, I Cappy, I'm [laughter] so sorry. We have another awful play from an outfielder. Hard-hitting Herald, we used to call this guy when he was with the Rays and the Guardians and stuff like that. A big reason why he's not in the big leagues anymore, is his defense is just awful. There was another rally to get the score a little bit closer. Run differences do matter in this tournament, so you're trying to keep the score as close as possible if you're going to lose. Shella had an RBI. Another guy got hit by a pitch. And then Ryel Martinez, he came in and shut the door for the save. Team Cuba is now 2-0 in the tournament. Colombia is 0 and3. So, they've been eliminated. And I think they're actually facing relegation. I think that's what you call it. A relegation is where you have to re-qualify for the WBC or another country can kick you out. This team Dominican I mean team Dr. Dominicana is a wagon. Like it's going to be tough to not only out hit this team but out passion and out energy this I mean they are energized. That's a serious factor in this tournament. Vlatty he just threw his bat ball. He got a barrel on it. I mean, that ball was at his knees. Tatis, he scampered home and as I'm recording, literally out the corner of my eye, I just saw Tatis hit a grand slam. Tomorrow's recap is going to be crazy. We also have USA versus Mexico literally later today as well. So again, subscribe so you don't miss that. Got another run on a Xander error. And is is that DD Gregorius? I honestly thought DD Gregorius was like 45 years old. He's only 36. Here comes Vlad. Vlad, between the World Series and the WBC, it is clear that he has the clutch gene. is a clutch machine. He was bred for these moments. He kept it fair. He has six runs batted in his first two games of the WBC. Vlatty, he had a screamer in the fifth. I know that he got out, but apparently even though again he got out, he had the tell on the pitcher. He gave Junior Camro the blueprint. And I am shocked, like quite literally surprised that the cover stayed on this baseball. The 22-year-old Junior Camo is fresh off 45 home runs in MLB last year. He already has two home runs and five RBI's without a strikeout in two games this WBC's I mean team Dr is going off again like I'm saying Austin Wells Yankees fans got to love this. He just popped off for a home run and a lot of people on Twitter were saying he doesn't have that like that Dr. Celebration gene. He's Dominican. Okay. I think his mom's Dominican. You could tell Marte lifted a sack fly to get it to a 10 spot. Juan stood he's up. He can end it with one SW. Oh my dude. One of the worst sliders I've ever seen. There have been a lot of floaters in this tournament so far. Team DR is hitting at the time of this recording. They just added to it with a couple more home runs. They were hitting 361 with seven home runs as a team in just two games. Again, they're adding to it. Tatis had that grand slam. I think O'Neal Cruz went yard. We'll talk about that tomorrow cuz right now we have to talk about Junior Camroero who literally looks like a superstar and the Guardians gave him away for nothing. I have to talk about this again because I've been tagged a thousand times in it. Stop tagging me. Okay, I'm already a sad Guardians fan as it is. Stop tagging me. Once upon a time, Junior Camro, I think he was like 17, 18 at the time. He was traded by the Cleveland Guardians for Tobias Meyers, who has actually been pretty decent. He has a 3.15 year in his first 190ish big league frames. But the thing is, he's never played for Cleveland. They DFA him. They literally let him go 7 months later. The Guardians traded away a literal superstar in Junior Camo for nothing. If I drove to Cleveland and I handed them a Grady Seismore bobblehead, or if I dug into my belly button and I found some belly button lint and gave it to them, that would be more than what they got for Junior Camroero who hit 295 with nine home runs and a 915 OPS with the Guardians when he was with them in their farm system and then they traded him away. If they had paid Francisco Lindor, I know that Lindor reportedly rejected an extension. But if they still had Lindor, JRAM with Camaro and that staff, I mean, they they would win multiple World Series at least challenge for them. And just spare me with the whole we can't afford these guys. Yes, you can. You're owned by a bajillionaire. And again, I've been tagged a thousand times. Please spare my soul. I don't want to know and hear that the Guardians traded another superstar. I just can't take it anymore, guys. Stop. But yes, I had to talk about that one more time because I I just I never want to hear about this ever again. Yandi Diaz, Yiner Diaz, Junior Camro, Francisco Lindor, you name it, we can't keep them. It's just it sucks being a Guardians fan. Apparently, it's also not a lot of fun to be a fan of team Great Britain because uh yeah, they've been getting smoked in this tournament. So, Great Britain, they were given a few gifts by Italy. They had a couple wild pitches from I think his name is Deluchia or something like that. Good thing that team Italy can rake. No need for the espresso celebration because Andrew Fischer has all of the energy in the world. I'd be pumped up too. That's a crazy home run. Dazzio, I think that's how you say it. He makes it backto back home runs. We are tied at two. We're going to fast forward to the fourth inning. So, there's two outs in the fourth. Fischers up with the duck on a pond. The pitcher didn't cover. Oh my god. Oh my. Yeah, it's 3-2 now. Miles Mastery, he lays one down the right field line for an RBI two bagger. Nory, I think the last time that we talked about this guy, he had a two home run game, so he was jazzed up. Two espresso shots. He had an RBI single. And one of my favorite names of all spring training and so far the WBC. Sam Antinachi. I told you about him pre-WBC. He's chugging around. That's an RBI triple that then turned into a little league home run. Do not let Sam get his swagger back. He can swing it. You have Eaton. Uh-oh. He's the Terk Scoop guy. He went yard off of Terk Scoop. He doubled. Jazz is driving in runs now. Jazz then scored on a wild pitch. So, it's seven to three. Wait, wait, wait. It's there's a ninth inning rally. Elimination is on the line for Great Britain and I think even relegation. Greg Weisser walked then allowed an infield single. Lewis, he chopped one to advance both the runners and now you have eaten up again. He's been clutch but that is a Louisiana Bayou. And then Jazz, he was intentionally walked to get the bases. This is Whoa. Bases loaded for Harry Ford who's already gone yard in back-to-back World Baseball Classics. Nory, he got on his horse and he makes the catch. It paid [music] off. Arriv says team Italy. Great Britain is now 0 and3 and they've been kicked out. Well, I mean they're still in the tournament technically playing, but yeah, they can't move on. Moving on, we got team Canada versus team Panama. Abraham Toro is staying hot. He just split the gap. Team Canada is up early already. Now, this was a very back andforth game, though. So, Luis Castillo, there's a bunch of Luis Castillos. He's not the one that you're probably thinking of. He went the other way to tie it. And then Denzel Clark of Team Canada said, "U reverse. I'm going to do the same thing. I'm going to stay back and go the other way. I'm going to take what's given. It's 2-1 Canada. We're going to jump to the fifth inning. Toro, he's up with the bases loaded again. He's been redot. It's a 3-1 count. a hitter count. He dropped his PCI. Bo Naylor, he's got a chance to do some directly to José Cabayro. So, that could have been very, very bad. And is is that who I think it is? The big maple, James Paxton. He's on the bump. Beth & Court, he chopped one. This is going to Oh, no. Josh Naylor. He botched it. Josh Naylor never does that. He just straight up whiffed it. So, the bases are juiced for Panama. We have Ruben Tihada. Yes, the chase outly slide guy. It's a 3-2 count. He put on the contact swing and it worked. Runners were on the move because it was a 3-2 count with two outs. Now a second run is scoring. Panama takes the lead. So again, it's 3-2. Enrique Bradfield Jr. has 80 great speed. He quite literally is one of the fastest players that has ever existed. Lift small, bump the ball. He had a huge night. He had three base hits. Also stole two bags. And now we get to see that 80 great speed fly. Cababiro. He line one down the left field line. There was a perfect relay. Oh my goodness. Owen Casey to Otto Lopez. Lopez threw a perfect seed. That was legit perfection. So again, Owen Casey, he was the first part of that relay. He's in the box now. He launched one. No one is ever c well not launching one over the fence, but still no one's ever catching that if Enrique can't catch it cuz he's that good out there. It's 4-3. Naylor. He's on second base in the ninth inning. They're Jared Young. He struck out to end it. That was the first win of the tourney for team Panama. Canadian players and fans, they were in complete disbelief. Israel versus Nicaragua. We have a guy name, I think his name is Colin Carrick. He is wreaking havoc. He had a slapper the other way. He then stole second base. He then stole third base. And he's used to doing this because as a member of the Rockies farm system. He stole 53 bags in 2024, then 46 last year. Jake Mendinger found a hole, so it's one- nothing for Dean Kmer. He went four scoreless innings, but but he's folding in the fifth. He had a single. He then walks him one. He is barking at himself. He is not happy. He has to dig deep. And he did right there. A strike out. But because there's a pitch count limit in the WBC, they got to try and make sure that they can use him again if they can, which they're not going to. His day is over. You have a guy named Mallets coming in. He walked a guy. So the bases are loaded for Freddy. I think his name is Freddy Zamora who's already had a clutch game earlier and they got blessed with a double play. That's as easy as it gets for a third baseman. That swung all of the momentum to team Israel. Harrison Bader poked one the other way for another run. Then you have Zack Levenson with two more RBI's. Carrick, he's doing the driving in runs now. Again, he had 53 stolen bases, then 46. He's a fun little player for the Rockies. Keep that name in mind. Change up guy Tommy Kley had a 123 ninth inning. That is the first one of the tourney for team Israel. Nicaragua is now 0 and3. They have been relegated. So again, they have to re-qualify. So the next time the WBC comes around, if they don't qualify, another team's going to replace them. We have backtoback games where someone got shut out. But uh [laughter] just watch this game. So Randy, he's flaring in a double and now he can fly home on the loud single for Jonathan Aronda. I thought that ball was gone off the bat. Captain Kirk, he and Vlatty Jr. love the big moment and apparently so does Jonathan Aronda. He was getting MVP chance from the Mexican fans. He scores all the way from first base. The fan base was going crazy. Nicki G of the Pirates, Nick Gonzalez. He I mean this would have broke my controller if I was playing the show and I gave up that base hit. By the way, a lot of MLB The Show references in this video. So subscribe to Fuzzy Gaming cuz MLB26 is almost out. Alec Thomas, the Diamondback, he had a liner to left field. And Nacho Alvarez Jr., he got in just ahead of the throw. Mexico is aggressive so far this WBC. Jiren Durant, he has one of the most aggressive swings in all of baseball. Just easy pop. And his dad was in attendance to see it. I love that. Now his dad gets to see two more RBI's, a two-run twobagger on an excuse me swing. This was one of the luckiest swings I've ever seen because not only was an excuse me swing, the left fielder probably should have caught it, but now it's a two-run double. Kirk, so many floaters. Again, this tournament has been full of bad pitching walks and just pitches directly down the middle for meatballs. You can't do that against MLB hitters. They take advantage. That's a three-run home run for a 10 spot. Team Mexico scored a few more. And then Alec Thomas and Jonathan Ornelis, they put this game officially on ice. A two-run home run for Alec Thomas. And same [music] for Ornellis. I think that's how you say it. It's a 15 run rule. After six innings, they put up 16. So, the game's over. A walk-off home run. Sodto had the same thing as well. The pitching staff had eight strikeouts, just three base hits. Mexico is going to be a tough tough out. And by the way, Brazil lost again. So, they're going to have to face Great Britain. And whoever loses that game is going to be relegated. Speaking of team Mexico, tonight is going to be cinema. We have team Mexico versus Paul Skins and team USA. That is going to be epic. If you guys are going to that game or you're going to be just having extra fun with it, use code fuzzy on Segeek to save 20 bucks off all of your tickets, even spring training tickets. And also, Underdog is going to have some Paul skins stuff. So, use code fuzzy on Underdog. They're going to give you five bucks if you play 75. If you're watching on TV, all you have to do is scan that little QR code. And there we have it. Another WBC recap in the books. Thank you guys so much for watching. We'll catch tomorrow.
