I grew up from a generation where they said that we could have it all. And now I get asked, "How do you balance your your life as a mother and and a career woman?" [music] And the truth is, nobody showed us how to do it cuz we were told we could have it all. And now we're just realizing [music] it's impossible because there's only one of us. And we're expected to spread ourselves so [music] thinly and divide ourselves up into 20, 30 pieces. That's impossible. It's an impossible load. And I think it's just important [music] to acknowledge that actually we got it wrong. We can't have it all because the [music] only thing that gives is us and our sanity and our um mental and physical well-being. So actually [music] it is worth going back to I suppose grassroots of community and looking for [music] what that village looks like and asking for help and actually realizing what is [music] without feeling that you don't have that capability about you but just to not feel that you've failed if it's just too heavy a workload. It's impossible [music] to do everything at optimum speed all of the time and [music] it's okay to ask for help. In fact, I recommend it.
