[music] [music] What is good my friends and welcome back to another episode of the hobbyist. For today's video, my CGC card submission has returned. This is a 25 card submission. All the logistics like price per card and all that stuff will be in the video description. Let's get inside this box and check out the grades. Okay, so I got a card returned. That is a little bit of a shocker. [music] Um, this one SU service unavailable and does not fit current holders. That is weird because I have two other cards from this [music] set, from this tin, uh, that are in a holder, a CGC holder. So, I don't know, maybe I'll try it again on my next submission. See what happens. But everything else was graded. So, [music] let's get started. I have quite a few of Kraken Cross uh cards that I have in this order from PSA to CGC. First one here is a Ricky Henderson. Just grabbing my labels here real quick. So, the first one was a 1982 Opichi Ricky Henderson. This was in a PSA near mint mint 8. And CGC gave this one a 7.5. So, pretty close to the PSA grade. half grade lower, I guess we'll say. So, there we go. There's the 7.5 Ricky Henderson OPG. 1982 OPG. It looks a lot better in this slab. Next up is another crackout. This one was a is a 1986 tops Will Clark Tiffany. This was a PSA 9, mint 9, and CGC gave this a mint nine. [applause] So, there we go. [snorts] Next up is another Will Clark and this is another Crackout. This was a 19 This is a 1987 OPG [music] Will Clark. This was graded a mint nine from PSA. CGC graded this an 8.5. Nice looking card. Next up is another Will Clark. This is a 1987 Top Tiffany. This one wasn't a PSA 9 holder and CGC graded this a mint 9. [applause] So, no bumps up so far, just bumps down, but that is okay. Next up, we have a Barry Bonds. This is a 1987 Fleer Glossy. This one was a PSA mint 9. CGC graded this a mint nine. [applause] Nice looking card. Nice looking slab. >> [music] >> Next is a show Otani. Okay. Yeah, this one was a SGC 9.5. Um, when I cracked it out of the SGC slab, I noticed some some stuff on the [music] uh back of the card and it was I wiped it off with a cloth, microfiber cloth, and the card looked pretty clean after that. So, let's see what this one graded at the CGC. This is from the 2018 Tops on Demand black and white [music] set. Uh, so this is a show Otani rookie. This one was graded by CGC as a Jamint 10. Nice. I will take that. And looks really clean in this slab. Just [music] saying. Next up is a LeBron James rookie card. This one is also a crack and cross. This is the 2003 Topps [music] LeBron James. This is the I think it's the the complete set, the Tops complete set uh variation. And this one graded a mint nine with PSA and CGC graded it a mint nine. [applause] There we go. Okay, this one is not a crossover. This one was a encased [music] in a one-touch. This was a ETOPS Barry Bonds the inaug in inaugural edition. And this one graded a mint 9 2001 ETOPS Barry Bonds. [music] And these ETOPS cards have a pretty cool refractor on them. So that's why I like them so much. Pretty cool card there. Another Barry Bonds ETOP. This is from the 2002 uh season. This one received another mint 9, another core refractor. Next is another ETOPS. This one is one a special event series or I think it's just called the event series. Uh this is Bonds establishes the 500 500 club. This one graded a mint nine but still a cool refractor. Check that out. Nice looking [music] card. Another Tops uh ETOPS card. Again, all these ETOPS cards were in a one-touch. They had the little foil sticker on them. Um, [music] but half those half the time those foil stickers are already popping off. This one received a mint nine. Check that out. Cool looking card there. Nice. Okay, now we're into my Kobes. I completed the entire run of ETOPS cards for Kobe Bryant. Starting off with the 2001 2002 Kobe [music] Bryant. All these ETOPS cars are also limited in production, too. So, we received 9.5 nice on all the ETOPS Kobe Bryant cards. I was hoping hoping to get eights or better. Um I think there were a couple that I felt had a chance out of 10. And obviously we got a 9.5 on that one. So that one's pretty cool. Here's the second one. This is from the 0203. This one received another 9.5. Nice. So, we had 2001, 2002, 020, 03, and one of these years, um, they started numbering them on the back. Here's the 2003 2004 Kobe Bryant and the E-TOPS. This one received 8.5. Okay. Like I said, I knew some of these were around the [music] eight range, and I was hoping for eights or better. Got better than that, an eight on that one. Next up is the 2004 2005 E Tops Kobe Bryant and a Mint 9. Again, [music] all these refractors look pretty cool on these cards. And in these Caitly slabs, they look really nice. Here is 2005 2006. And this [music] one received a mint nine. Check that out. Okay, here's the year where they started numbering them on the back. This one is numbered out of 999. This is the 2006 2007 uh season and a gem mint 10. Check that out. Nice. [music] All right. Next up is the 2007208 card. Kobe Bryant again numbered out of $9.99. This one received another Gem 10. Sweet. Man, that one that one was tricky cuz look at all that surface. Wow. that that refractor surface. Cool. Gem 10. Nice. Okay. Next up, I have I submitted two of these. These are the They're both numbered out of 484. So, this one received Oh, this is from the uh which season is this? 2008 2009 season [clears throat] 0809 received a nine. Bummer. But it is better. It is in the eight or above category. So I will take that. Nice. Just got my hopes up with those two 10s. Okay, here's a second one. 484. Same season n 2008 2009 same player and this one received same grade [laughter] mint n. All right, cool. Okay, and this one is this was just a Los Angeles Lakers team card. Um, this one says up here, I don't know if you can read it. This is [music] limited edition of 900 or is that 850? I think it's 850. [music] My eyes are bad. Um, and this is from like the 200 3 2004 season or the 2004 2005, I don't remember. [music] This one received the near mint mint 8. There's Kobe in the middle. [music] And then you got his uh other cast of characters surrounding him. Okay. Ooh. Okay. This was a show Otani. This was a PSA graded rainbow foil project 70. I love the Project 70 cards [music] as you can see back there. Now, this was a near mint mint 8 and CGC [music] graded this. This is a thicker card a 9.5. Nice. [snorts] And it looks really nice on this this slab, too. [music] I didn't see a whole lot going on with this card. There was a little bit of a like a a corner issue maybe down here. And I couldn't tell if there was like some some foil issue going up here, but I don't really see it now. It looks [music] really good. So, there we go. 9.5. Cool. I'll take that. And is this the Magic [music] Johnson? This is the Magic Johnson. Okay. This one came in a huge slab like I don't know like two or three times this this thing. And this one graded a near mint seven. This is the gold logo signatures from 2014 Pan Panini National Treasures. So, I wanted to get this one reslabbed uh by CGC anyway because I knew they had cases that fit it better. And this one received the near mint 8. Nice. With an autograde of 10. Cool. And here, just for reference. Nice. And it looks much better in this slab. And it's a lot easier to handle and store. Cool. Okay. So, I ended up adding a couple cards because I needed to get to the 25 card limit for the bulk price. And this was one didn't get graded. I'll try it again. And the other one was I had another one of these. It wasn't Magic Johnson. This one is the Gail Goodridge. So, let's see what this one graded out as. This one received the near mint 7 with the auto 10. Nice. Check that out. Pretty cool cards. These are all PC cards, so I am very happy with this order. Uh, let me know which card was your favorite.
