Analysis Summary
Ask yourself: “Did I notice what this video wanted from me, and did I decide freely to say yes?”
Performed authenticity
The deliberate construction of "realness" — confessional tone, casual filming, strategic vulnerability — designed to lower your guard. When someone appears unpolished and honest, you evaluate their claims less critically. The spontaneity is rehearsed.
Goffman's dramaturgy (1959); Audrezet et al. (2020) on performed authenticity
Worth Noting
Positive elements
- This video provides a highly technical and creative culinary breakdown of how to manipulate textures (like using pumpkin puree and kafi) to achieve specific mouthfeel in low-calorie baking.
Be Aware
Cautionary elements
- The use of 'cheat meal' terminology and 'diet wrecker' labels reinforces a binary view of food that may encourage obsessive tracking or reliance on highly processed sugar substitutes.

You won't believe this is healthy. This is a protein Dubai chocolate brownie. It's the best dessert I've ever made. This tiny viral Dubai chocolate bar has over 1,000 calories. It's the definition of a diet record. So, I took those exact same flavors and re-engineered them into fudgy, high protein, lowc calorie Dubai chocolate brownies that you can eat literally every single day to crush your cravings and still lose fat. At the end of this video, I'm even going to show you how I make my high protein Dubai chocolate ice cream. This is how I lost over 100 lbs. Not by cutting out the foods I love, but by recreating them. So, I built my app, Flavor, to give you everything I've learned so you can transform your physique. There's over 250 of my recipes in the app, and I'm adding new recipes every single week. Plus, I have custom meal plans. Plus, you can make your own meal plans. And the app creates automated shopping lists for you. Come join the community so you can get fit and stay fit with flavor. There's a sweet sale right now for launch where you can lock in for life for under $2 a week. I can't wait to see you in my app. First up, the foundation for this thing, the rich fudgy brownies. All you need is two bowls. In your dry bowl, add in 72 g of flour. I'm using allpurpose, 20 g of whey protein powder, and 18 g of casein protein powder. I'm using Dutch chocolate whey and French vanilla casein. The whey gives the brownie structure. And the casein keeps them moist. I'm sorry, I said moist. Code rule to try the protein powder. If you don't like it, you get to keep it and you get your money back. Then 44 g of dark cocoa powder. I'm using dark to give these brownies that rich dark chocolate taste. My cocoa has so many dang clumps in it always. So, I'm just going to sift it in. Now, 110 grams of arythrtol, which is quite a lot, but we are making a giant pan of brownies here. This is my favorite sweetener because it has the same texture of sugar, but it's only 70% as sweet as sugar. So, let's bump up the sweetness by adding in six packets of sweetener, which each pack a punch. Big pinch of salt and give all this a good mix to prevent clumping. Now, in a separate bowl, whisk together all of your wet ingredients. It starts with 150 g of plain non-fat Greek yogurt. And then my fudgess hack, pumpkin puree. Do not ask me why it is in some random plastic container. Cheap code and lowc calorie, high protein recipes. It just keeps things so moist for such little calories. 110 g of pumpkin puree for that incredible moisture. A teaspoon of vanilla extract. And lastly, add in your 140 g of almond milk. Whisk it until it's nice and smooth. Okay, now switch to a spatula instead of the whisk. Pour the dry bowl into the wet and just fold it all together until it's combined. The biggest mistake people make right now is overmixing. Stop as soon as you don't see any dry clumps of flour anymore. That's the secret to a fudgy brownie. I'm using an 8.5 in by 8.5 in glass baking dish. See how the parchment paper keeps popping out? Here's the hack. Sprinkle it into a bowl. Open it back up and magic. It stays in the pan. I use fridge clips to help it stay and spray some oil just to make sure nothing ever sticks. Pour your brownie batter into the pan. This is going to go in the oven 325° F for 45 to 50 minutes. Quick tip. If you're using a metal pan, it's going to cook way faster. So, start checking at around the 30 minute mark. While the brownies bake, let's make the magic happen. That crunchy pistachio. The key ingredient here is katifi. It's basically just shredded file dough. It comes frozen. I cut out 100 g of it, which was a task in itself. I had to saw it with a knife for a couple minutes because it's frozen rock solid, but I did this 2 to 3 hours ago, and I let it defrost, and then it becomes flaky and fall apart, tender. You're going to add a pan over medium heat, spray it with oil, and add in your kitifi. Toast this, moving it around over and over again until it's golden brown and make sure nothing burns at the bottom. Usually, some small pieces get super toasted while most of the long pieces are still white. So, just remove everything from the pan and add back in the parts that still need more toasting. Eventually, everything's going to get light brown. Remove from the heat and set it aside to cool down. In a bowl, add your pistachio butter, which I made at home. This is how I saved tons of money by making my own pistachio butter. We just need one ingredient, and that's going to be 300 g of shelled pistachios. This is the bag I bought from Trader Joe's. It's not enough, so I'm shelling more. Also, mine were salted pistachios, and they're really, really salty. So, I'm just going to wash them really quick. Get all that salt off. Dry them super, super super, super super well. We don't want too much moisture at all. Then, onto a baking tray, evenly spread out. And in the oven, 350° F for just 5 to 7 minutes. You want to develop some roasted flavors. It's going to make them taste delicious. And take them out, toss them around, and let them cool completely. Then, add all your pistachios into a food processor and just blend. Initially, it turns into pistachio powder like this. Scrape down the sides and keep blending. After 5 to 7 minutes, it turns into a pistachio paste. This is delicious, but it's not a butter consistency yet. Scrape down the sides and keep mixing. It might look like it's never going to turn into a pistachio butter, but you got to trust the process. Keep blending, scraping, blending, scraping. It might even take 20 to 30 minutes, but eventually you will get pistachio butter. You're going to get super drippy, runny consistency like this. Take all your pistachio butter into a mason jar and you saved yourself tons of money because buying this much pistachio butter would cost you at least $20. I just keep this in my fridge. It stays good for a long time. Measure out 120 g of pistachio butter. Add salt and sweetener to it and stir. Then add your kifi and mix it in to coat everything really well. The texture and the flavor on this is absolutely insane. It's addicting. And just listen to that sound. Let's check on the brownie. Oh, that's looking good. All right, pork goes in the center. Take it out. Oh, they're still a little bit batter. Hey, I do like fudgy brownies, but that might be a little too much. Five more minutes. Last piece is our super simple protein frosting. In a bowl, add in some of that Legion protein powder, Dutch chocolate whey, and French vanilla casein. 15 g of dark cocoa powder. And optionally, add in 5 g of black cocoa powder for an even darker color. Lots and lots of sweetener. I used five packets. Mix all of this up. Then added 150 g of Greek yogurt and 1 tbsp of sugar-free chocolate syrup. Mix this up. It's going to be way too thick. Keep adding small splashes of cold water as you mix until you get a thick, smooth, spreadable consistency. I used exactly 60 grams of cold water to get it perfect. You can also sub all the dark cocoa powder for black cocoa powder and you're going to get a super deep dark frosting. Although it's not going to taste very chocolatey, which is why I like to use dark cocoa. If you use all black cocoa, it's going to taste more like Oreo frosting vibes, which is still great. Brownies are done. Remove them from the oven and let it cool completely. This is a very important step. Your brownies must be completely cooled. I mean it. If they're even a little bit warm, the frosting and the pistachio filling will just melt into a soupy mess. So just let it cool completely. It's going to take at least an hour. So now you have some time to go relax. Once the brownies have cooled, this is the best part. Spoon that incredible pistachio kify crunchy layer right on top. Spread it out. Our protein frosting goes on top. And just spread it with a butter knife. Oh, this is Oh, this is good. I'm excited. That viral thousand calorie chocolate bar turned into a low calorie fat loss brownie that you can feel completely good about eating. It's rich. It's indulgent. It's decadent. [music] You would never ever believe that it's actually macroofriendly cuz it tastes [music] like a damn cheat meal. [clears throat] It's got that rich chocolate brownie, that creamy pistachio, that addicting crunch, that ginache frosting. Oh [snorts] my god, it is so good. I can't even put into words. 200 calories, 16 grams of protein. It does not taste macrofriendly at all. It tastes like one of the biggest cheap foods you have ever seen in your life. I It's like hard to believe this is actually healthy and nutrient-dense when you like taste it. Oh my god, it's so freaking good, guys. Each brownie clocks in at 28 calories, 16 g of protein, 23 g of carbs, and 7 g of fat. This recipe makes nine brownies, and each one fills you up cuz it is so indulgent. But we're not stopping. Now, let me show you how I turn this brownie into a Dubai chocolate protein ice cream. In your Ninja Creamy Pint, add 240 g of fat-free milk and 200 g of almond milk. In a separate cup, add in 35 grams of whey protein powder. I use Dutch chocolate flavor. 10 grams of dark cocoa powder, three packets of sweetener, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, which is 1 gram, and also a gram of zanthanum, which is also 1/4 teaspoon. Mix all of this up. Get your milk frother and start blending the milk as you slowly add in the dry ingredients. Premixing the dry ingredients helps them disperse evenly in the milk and you get the best consistency that way. Now, freeze this pint overnight. The next day, wash the outside of the pint for 1 minute under warm water and spin it on ice cream mode. Use a knife to scoop out some of that ice cream from the center hole and then stuff an entire piece of Dubai chocolate protein brownie in there. Back in the Ninja Creamy on mixing mode and you're left with a luxurious Dubai chocolate ice cream that is so incredibly indulgent. Pieces of brownie and crunchy pistachio filling in every single bite. This goes so hard. It's like insanely dark chocolatey brownie chunks on every bite. I'm eating this with a small spoon cuz I want this to last forever. The entire pint is only 444 calories with 55 grams of protein, 38 grams of carbs, and 10 grams of fat. Now, if you like these brownies, you might also like some of the other dessert recipes I have. I have multiple different kinds of brownies, cheesecakes, cookies, even skillet cookies, where you can eat the entire skillet for amazing calories and macros. So, if you want to eat like me and enjoy and absolutely love your diet, eating the foods you crave every single day while reaching your goals and getting the physique of your dreams, check out my app. I wish this existed years ago when I wanted to lose weight because it would have made my journey so much more enjoyable and easier. But I'm so so so excited to launch it for you guys now and I hope you guys absolutely love it. But if you want to watch another brownie video, my cheesecake swirl brownies are incredible. Each piece is only 35 calories which is so low calorie and that just means you can eat a lot of brownies. Heck, you can even eat the entire pan for just 500 calories and 42 gram of protein. I'll see you in that video.
