“Be aware that the 'guaranteed' profits described do not account for the significant labor time required for individual packing, shipping, and customer service, which may result in a sub-minimum wage hourly return.”

Ask yourself: “What would I have to already believe for this argument to make sense?”

Primary technique

Performed authenticity

The deliberate construction of "realness" — confessional tone, casual filming, strategic vulnerability — designed to lower your guard. When someone appears unpolished and honest, you evaluate their claims less critically. The spontaneity is rehearsed.

The transcript exhibits highly natural, unscripted human speech including authentic filler words, personal anecdotes about recent sales, and specific sensory details like the smell of old card gum. The content is deeply tied to the creator's personal business operations and real-world events, which is inconsistent with synthetic narration or AI-generated scripts.

Natural Speech Patterns Presence of filler words ('uh', 'you know'), self-correction ('I'm going to change gears for just a second'), and conversational tangents about Fanatics Fest.
Personal Anecdotes and Context Specific details about selling two cards yesterday, the smell of bubble gum on vintage cards, and referencing a previous video 'dropped a day or two ago'.
Niche Domain Expertise Detailed breakdown of card lots (87 vs 86 Don Mattingly), specific pricing ($60.95), and strategic differentiation between 'goat' lots and base lots.

Worth Noting

Positive elements

  • The video provides a realistic look at the actual math behind high-volume, low-margin eBay flipping, which is often ignored by 'get rich quick' influencers.

Be Aware

Cautionary elements

  • The use of financial terminology like 'dividends' and 'guaranteed profits' to describe a high-effort retail arbitrage business.

Good morning, YouTube. In this video, I'm going to share with you what I call our monthly dividend method for guaranteeing myself profits every month with sports cards. A simple method that anybody can implement. Uh, as we go through this, uh, it should go without saying, I'm not a financial advisor. you know, you're responsible for your own research and education and due diligence and so on and so forth. We put this disclaimer at the bottom of every video that we do in the description on YouTube. So, please read it. You know, this is just sharing with you what we're doing personally with this dividend method to create monthly profits. It's a system where you set it, forget it. you don't have to think about it and it just keeps creating profits for you month after month. It has for us and we'll share this with you. Now, on a side note, and I'm going to change gears for just a second because I found this very fascinating. The case study we're going to share with you in this train is for this particular card and and a few others. But this is a card that we sell probably three to five a month. Three to five a month. It's just every month. Three to five a month. No big deal. Yesterday we sold two. We've sold three to five a month for several months. Yesterday we sold two in one day. And I started thinking about this. Why did that happen? And again, this has nothing to do with my main point, but I hope you find this interesting. What happened last week in New York? Fanatics, right? The Fanatics Fest. I would almost guarantee you that some that the people that bought this card yesterday were at that show, the Fanatics Fest show, and they probably got pulled. I'm hoping got pulled back into the hobby. Maybe they started looking. Maybe they decided to go on eBay and oh, Don Don Madden Lee is the man. He's my guy. I don't have this card. It's not expensive. Let me buy it. And we sold two yesterday. So, I just found it fascinating. I'm hoping and I I really believe that Fanatics is going to bring a lot of of new customers into the card market with events like what happened in New York last weekend or last week. Okay, let me get into it. This is different than the the video we dropped a day or two ago. In that video, it's important that you understand the differences. In that video, we were talking about finding relics and short prints and autos of goats. You know, the greatest of all time, Mike Trout, Otani, Judge, Caitlyn, whoever, the the cream of the crop players. That's who we were talking about in this goats video if you guys saw that. Don't get this method confused. It's different because with the goats method, we're look, we're trying to pick up small lots, four, six, eight, 10 cards that are not base or not common. They're they're numbered cards of goat players and six or seven cards. This is different because with this method, we're still focusing on the same players, but we're looking for large lots and usually those are going to be base. You can't buy a 100 numbered of one particular card in bulk normally. So, the example we're going to use is the Don Maddingley cards. Now, follow me here because this again, it's different and I don't want you to confuse. If you saw the goats video, I don't want you to confuse this. Yes, it's the same players, the same goats, but we're looking for base cards. We're looking for We're not looking for the parallels and the numbered cards and the autos and so on and so forth. Just base cards. So, we bought this lot. It was 200 cards. 87 Don Maddenley and 100 1986 Don Maddingley. And we ended up buying them, had them delivered for a total price of $60.95. $60.95. So that breaks down to right at 30 per card. So we bought a 100. Then the next thing we did once we got them in, they were beautiful, too. It's like somebody put these in a box, you know, back years ago and never touched them. I mean, they are beautiful cards. You can still smell the bubble gum on them. But anyway, so we bought these cards, this lot, and then we listed them. So on the 86 Matting Leap, we sell it for $1.78. Again, we've been selling three to five of this card for months, every month. three to five like clockwork until yesterday when we sold two and that's really what triggered me to do this video. Um, but you can see right now we sell it for $1.78 minus our 30 cents cost. So that gives us a $148. We don't charge shipping and handling. So that takes out 68 cents. So, it gives us 80 cents profit every time we sell this this card. 80 cents. But again, how many times do I have to list it? One time, set and forget. And then we've got, of course, the drop down here. Normally, what we do is we'll list 10 10 cards at a time. We don't we don't put all hundred on eBay at the same time. We usually show that we have five or eight or whatever, but we'll we'll usually list up to 10 cards at a time. And once we get low, then we'll sometimes we'll res we'll restock or re-up the uh listing. But it's just simple. We sit there and that card, you know, it sells again three to five times a month. We're shipping slabs every single day anyway. So pulling a donly card and putting it in a in an envelope in a top loader and sending it off, it's no big deal. And again, a lot of these methods I look at, yes, we're making profit, but it's almost like a loss leader for us. It gets eyeballs on our store. Uh it helps us create customers and people see how well we ship, how fast we ship. Uh, and we have 100% feedback on eBay, 100% positive feedback. I mean, we're trying to do good business and do it right. And this helps us, you know, communicate and get in touch with other potential long-term customers. And that's really what we're looking for as we move forward. So, there's the DOM mainly the 86. The 87 we sell for 170 again. 30 cents, $140, 68. It's 72 cents profit on that. Same thing, same idea, same concept. List it once, you're done. And then we also do a double card, twocard lot that we sell for $1.99 plus 88 cents delivery, uh, handling, delivery, shipping and handling. So that's a total of 2.87. And our cost of goods is 60 gives us $227US 68 is $160 profit or $160 a $160 profit on the two card lots. So that's the concept guys. It's simple. It's easy. Anybody can put this into action. Look for lots of great players. Now, when when you break this down, like the card I just showed you, we you're looking at approximately when it all when it's all said and done, $160 and what I call dividend profits. And why dividend profits? Because you set it and forget it. You list it one time and you forget it. You You don't have to think about it. It's just 3 to five a month, three to five a month, three to five a month. when they all sell out, you've made $160 easily. Easily. So, Dale, I can't get excited about that. Well, I can't either, but I can from the standpoint that I'm developing relationships and people see how well we do business and they'll come back. So again, I almost look at it from a loss leader point of view, but it's just one of multiple things, systems that we teach that guarantee us sports profits every single month. Just one of many different methods that we implement. And those of you that that watch our videos consistently, you've seen the different methods that we teach. Now, the real question for this is how many of these passive dividend income streams can you establish? I mean, probably right now we have 20, maybe 30, maybe 40, I haven't really looked at it, of of cards like this where we bought at least a hundred of a particular iconic player and we're doing this with. Now, every now and then you'll do it with somebody that's not an iconic player, but how many of these streams can you create? Now, this kind of blew my mind. Um, Ron Gant, I pulled from a person my personal collection. I'm still trying to get through some of my stuff that I had when my brother and I had our car shop. And I thought, I'm not gonna list this. I thought, well, let's just throw it up there and see what happens. So, we listed the Ron Gant rookie. Ron Gant, very popular Braves player. He also played for the Reds. Uh, fabulous player, 3030 guy. I never thought he reached his full potential, but man, he was exciting. He was a fun player to watch. So, I pulled 10 or 12 cards that I had in a binder of just a binder that was full of 87 or 88 rookies. And I thought, well, let's see what happens. So, I put this up and you can see 15, I guess, I put up because it's $1.49 and we've sold five and still have 10 available. And it's like I couldn't believe. I mean, they were selling at a really, really good clip. Uh, much more much better than I anticipated. I'm thinking there's a market for this card. And then I took a few to some of the shows we do here in Atlanta and, you know, they were some of the first cards that people took, grabbed out of our raves box. So, I'm thinking, okay, this guy's I knew he was popular, but he's obviously more popular than I thought. So, Just kind of making a mental note of that. And then I ran across by accident this potential lot on eBay for a hundred of his rookie cards. Ron Grant Ron Gant 20 bucks. That's 20 cents a card. So, you know, I I saved it and and then we went to another show and so three or four more Ron Gance out of our Braves box. I'm thinking, okay, I got to go on and pull the trigger on this. He's not in my mind an iconic goat. I don't think in anybody's mind, but he's definitely a very popular player based upon what we've seen it. So, this is how this breaks down. We have those now inhouse. That's $149 or $149. $1.49. It's what we sell it for. Cost of goods is 20 cents gives us 12.29. I've been talking about slabs earlier. Sorry guys, I'm in the hundreds and I should be in the dollars. But anyway, $1.29US 68 gives us 61 cents profit per car. So, it's when it's all said and done, this dividend will be $61 for us is the way I look at it. So, again, there's opportunities out there if you're just willing to do the work. Last thing I want to share with you real quick and I'll let you go. Um, think I pulled this up. Maybe I didn't. Guys, it this is just not that difficult of a business to guarantee yourself profits. What I just shared with you, every single person watching this video, again, you could do this. And that's what I try to communicate to people. If you're if you have patience, you know, if if you need to take that $20 and get it all back next month buying Ron Gant cards, it's not going to happen. It's not going to happen. But but if you can take that $20 and make 300% return on it and it doesn't matter if that happens, you know, in 6 months or a year or 18 months, you have patience and you're willing to do the work. And what I love about these lots, like I just shared with you, these these dividend lots, I'm only looking for one card at least 100. I'm not looking for a hundred assorted different run gant cards. I'm looking for one card. I can do one listing and sell it over and over and over and over and over. And everybody watching me can do this. And when you put like that's one system. The the the dividend system is one system and you can have 50 100 200 cards in the dividend system. The GOAT system is a completely different system. So when you have all these systems in place that guarantee you profits that you cannot lose with, and I probably shouldn't say you can't lose, maybe.1% of the time you could lose, but you're going to make profits guaranteed. And then you take that money and then you move into some higher plays, higher level plays where you start investing in iconic rookie cards like uh maybe Momes Griffy Jr. Upper Deck, you know, Conco, the uh 85 Don Conco, the Don Maddenly rookie from 1984 Donnress. Beautiful iconic card, sells extremely well. the uh the uh Griffy Jr. blowing a bubble card. There's so many iconic cards that you can invest in. I did another video on that as well. And then you take so you take your profit, your guaranteed profits, just build it up, invest in iconic cards, and and say you you make a few hundred and with guaranteed methods, you take that money, you put it into iconic cards, and you turn that few hundred into a few thousand, and then you take that $1,000, and you can you can get into the hot potato flip game with modern cards if you choose, and you can get into the uptowns, downtowns, and so on and so forth, but you're playing with the houses's money. So, that's really the focus of our channel. Uh, if you haven't uh really spent some time here, we've got some pretty good information here. You know, understanding these the the the four types of people that are involved in the sports card market. That's real important. I always have to know who am I dealing with here. Am I just dealing with a degenerate gambler? Am I dealing with a hardcore pure collector? Who am I talking to? Because you have to communicate with different people where they are, not where you are. And there's just certain things that if you can take these concepts, it'll really make a huge difference for you if you want to guarantee yourself profits in the sports card market. Uh this is a really good video. We we highlight um how we bought a 50 cent card, literally 50 cents, and we sold it for $85 in less than 24 hours. I didn't even have it graded. I was going to I said, "You know what? This is such a great card." And based upon the comps I'm seeing on market movers, I I think couldn't find any comps on eBay, but based on what I'm seeing, I think this card's going to sell quick. It did. You can get the story there. Just a lot of of information that is a little bit different. And I hope you'll take some time and check out some of these videos. Uh this is one that we just launched last week. Just understanding sunk cost and if you're a dealer, understanding the concept of sunk cost is going to make so much sense for you and so much profit for you. And it's a hard hard concept for really wrap your mind around. But this is all about moving and and and creating cash flow, creating sales. And you know, it's like people say, "Dale, why do you do what you do? I'm doing it that what I share on this particular channel. My only goal is to help people understand that you can guarantee yourself profits in this market and to try to communicate to people that have lost money. Why have you lost money? You've lost money because of the systems that you tried to implement. Because most people are teaching buy raw, grade, and flip in the modern card market. And that's really good until the quarterback tanks. And I have friends in Kentucky that that was their focus. Buy raw, grade, and flip. And they were all over Will Levis. I bought a lot. I bought more will levas and graded and flipped than I wish or graded and didn't get to flip flip as many as I'd hoped. But I I didn't go all in on will levas. I have a few. I made some I made enough money on the ones I sold to cover the ones that are going to go in the trash bin. But I have friends that put thousands and thousands, tens of thousands of dollars in Will Lev's cards because he was the Kentucky quarterback and has a rifle arm. And it's like, dude, don't do don't put all your eggs in one basket. And a lot of people get really hurt because in in the modern card market, that's what they do. And especially with an unproven quarterback, you see this all the time. and then they get a sour taste in their mouth because they got in debt. They put too much money on a credit card. The player didn't come through and they're they're they're negative on the market. And what I'm saying is there's a time and place to speculate in high dollar kabooms, uptowns, downtowns, etc. But you want to do that with the houses's money, not your rent payment. And that's really the focus of this channel. So anyway, guys, I appreciate you watching today. I hope this has made sense. If if you haven't gone over and checked out some of the videos that we have here, I think you'll find some things that will make sense for you. Uh we're trying to identify our market. Identify our market. Yes, what we're doing is different than what a lot of people are doing, what we're saying. It's not sexy. It's not exciting. It's not Well, I I I can find the video. I'll show you one that is exciting. I don't know what where it is. I probably And I don't know what it was called. If you haven't seen it, you need to see it. I don't really know how to navigate. Oh, here it is right here. Inside look at my most successful win-win baseball trade this year. you get a chance, check that one out. It's exciting. You guys have a great weekend. I'll talk to you on the next video.
