SST Ion is finally here

do I look here or do I look at you I look at you okay cool I'm not inav so I'm not used to the lights or the cameras or anything uh yeah so we just launched ion uh SST ion which is the next version of SST yeah we've been working on this pretty hard the results are okay let's put it this way if there's a scale from bad to great we're definitely in there somewhere the benchmarks though those are wild like we're talking 2x we're talking 3x look between you and me I could probably drop you a 4X Benchmark right here no questions asked can you actually feel the difference uh I mean the short answer is no but yeah maybe we should go to the next question so we switch off of cdk and we move to palumi which has been fantastic it's fixed so many big and small things for us that's a that's a good question question why wouldn't you just use bloy directly huh Kucha oh the cloud flare support yeah people have been going crazy about us supporting Cloud flare so it doesn't actually work like the cloud St doesn't actually work yet uh okay yeah yeah but with ion it's more about imagining how it could work eventually probably it's written in go the new C is written in go he talked about this a lot internally and I think it really just came down to the fact that none of us are smart enough to write rust oh yeah 100% open source completely free for you all to use how do we make money uh well I'm not really like the money guy uh I guess we don't really have a money guy at the company which we should probably figure out oh the migration process uh I business PB&J we dropped the classic today
