This War Is The Political End Of Donald Trump – Dennis Kucinich

this is the uh political end of Trump's presidency that he loses all credibility after this. Those who voted for him to stop endless wars based on his repeated promises know that he can't be trusted. Those who opposed him because they didn't they were concerned about whether he'd go to war or not, they're already that opposition is going to intensify. But this is much bigger than one person. Hey, welcome back. We have special guest with us, Dennis Cusinich, former Democratic congressman from Ohio and two-time candidate for president. Uh he was Cleveland's youngest mayor at the age of 31. And in 2008 presidential candidate, he ran on a platform of supporting singlepayer healthcare, impeaching Vice President Dick Cheney in the establishment of the Department of Peace. He's currently running for Congress as an independent. So let's uh uh let's I'm not running. He's not running. That's over. >> I'm not running now. >> This is No, he's not. Thank you. >> Now, I was reading your Substack and you have a nice uh you have a great post about the the Iran war and I just wanted to pick out this part and show it to you. It says this is in fact an extension of the Epstein saga, the destruction of innocents through child grape, murder, and cannibalism by powerful people whose thirst for blood will never be slaked in this cartwheeling carnival of human sacrifice called war. Wow. Uh so you you connect the Epstein uh saga with this Iran war. >> It's a it's a consciousness. It's a it's a demented consciousness which has no respect for human life, which has no respect for children except how they might be able to be used for for rape, murder, or cannibalism. Jimmy, the And so you progress from that to war, it's the same thing. Don't care about life. Don't care about children. bomb a school, missile strike on a school in uh Mi Minab, Iraq, killed over 165 children. No regrets, no apologies, no compunction, pathological. We're talking about people who are pathological killers. They don't care about human life. Look, and and if people say, "Well, this couldn't have happened. It wasn't intentional." Hey, Israel bombs school has bombed schools in the West Bank repeatedly, intentionally. Members of the IDF shoot children in the head for sport. I mean, people have to understand where are, you know, we have to reflect where are our values. What do we stand for? What do we believe in? Is this the way we were raised? Do we believe that we have souls and that what we do here has consequence not just here but in in in an afterlife. So you know we this is really an inflection point for our society for western civilization and frankly our government isn't meeting the test. And so what do you where do you see this? I mean, you've been around for a long time. You've seen a lot of these regime change wars. Trump campaigned on doing the exact opposite, which is why a lot of people voted for him. His popularity is in the tank. Uh looks like the Republicans are going to lose the midterms and he'll probably be impeached. Um what what do where do you see this going? What and did and did Trump make a complete miscalculation with this uh going along with Israel? I'll go as far as to say this is the uh political end of Trump's presidency, that he loses all credibility after this. The region, the Middle East, is now embroiled in a growing war and that war could spread as energy supplies start to get contracted based on part of the strategy which the United States has. Everything about this is wrong. The the the people were never in you know from the state of the union the people were never told about this. The president had every opportunity and said he partied at Mara Lago and then you know made the decision in between uh greeting guests to to go to war I suppose and then uh didn't didn't really inform Congress openly never asked for a resolution although you know whether he could have got it or not might be arguable but he's basically this has been war um kind of a secret war up to a point until the bombing started and the the missile strikes. And frankly, Jimmy, uh, having seen these kinds of wars, as you as you mentioned, having seen them before, this is a dead end. Literally dead end. The US cannot sustain this. It is a it is war crimes from jump street. The assassination of a foreign leader, the assassination of a religious leader. They're creating a holy war here. People need to understand how serious this this uh action is on the part of the Trump administration and they own it now. Killed the the religious leader, killing a lot of civilians, killing um these children. It's a war crime. and the loss of our own uh men and women who served our country honorably. And you know, it was interesting today that Secretary Hath scolded the media for even bringing it up because you said, you know, you're trying to you're trying to make the president look bad by talking about these dead American soldiers. I mean, this this shows a mindset of of a u of an organization that has no conscience. >> Yeah. No, no, no doubt about it. I mean, Zionists in general don't have a conscience. They're their whole uh motus operandi is is uh creating anti-semitism um so they can use that as a shield to go slaughter more people and take over more land. Um, and you know those those Zionists, uh, they're not even from the region, right? I mean, so that whole idea, it's funny, don't you it's funny that you know, you you mentioned that they're going to turn into a holy war. They always like to say that Iran they're they're crazy religious zealots and that we have to go bomb them because well, the Bible God promised this uh, so they're they're really the religious zealots. They're using the Bible to justify the Greater Israel project, which is the Israel going into parts of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Iraq, uh Jordan, uh Turkey, Lebanon, uh they're they're saying that God gave that to them. But the people that they're bombing, they're the real religious zealots. It it's kind of an irony, isn't it? >> Well, let's let's go back to comparison. Um the US and Israel conspired because this was planned conspired to kill Ayatollah Kamei who is in effect a pope of the Muslim world. Now there are already leaders there calling for jihad. Um, we we have ignited that. Why? And and if that's all it's about is stirring up war, what's the point? Iran wasn't threatening the United States. They didn't have the capability. They don't have the capability of attacking the United States. They don't have a bomb. the Ayatollah issued a fatwa, a religious uh uh forbidding of the creation of a atomic bomb. So this has all been we have seen a roose here a pretext for an attack and that attack I'll say it again has religious dimensions. Now, why in the world would you blow would you would you destroy and or assassinate the leader of a religion? This is we we have there are consequences, Jimmy, that are unfolding from this that right now are very hard to predict, but they're but they're all going to be bad and are going to be bad for Americans abroad. They're going to be bad for this country. It's going to be bad for the American economy. You know, that ought to be our concern. Although my first concern is the gross immorality of what this administration is about, what they're doing, just >> turning turning this area into turning the Middle East into a slaughterhouse and and aiding in abetting the the murder of hundreds of thousands of gazins uh and and the uh e and the extrep of people in the West Bank, burning their houses, killing their livestock. And this is all part of a false interpretation of a biblical narrative from so many years ago about uh the Amalecch and you know just kill everybody really.
