Signals

The transcript exhibits clear human characteristics including spontaneous speech errors, personal life context, and specific, non-robotic expertise in sports card grading. The production style is consistent with a hobbyist creator rather than an automated content farm.

Natural Speech Patterns Frequent use of filler words ('uh', 'um'), self-corrections ('I'm either going to either ship out'), and informal contractions.
Personal Anecdotes Specific personal context regarding a daughter's birthday party and lack of cell service affecting an eBay bid.
Subjective Evaluation Nuanced, non-formulaic opinions on card grading ('winning at an eight', 'maybe call me a sellout') and physical inspection details.

Worth Noting

Positive elements

  • Provides a realistic look at the condition issues (surface scratches, centering) that collectors must evaluate before spending money on professional grading.

Be Aware

Cautionary elements

  • The casual mention of 'pre-grading' a 10 can create unrealistic expectations for viewers about the consistency and ease of achieving high grades.

What is up, YouTube? Been a while. Uh, super quick video. Some pickups and a PSA pre-order that I'm either going to either ship out or drop off, but it's not a pickup video without Sila Swords. I said I'm going to slow down on her, but these are a dollar each. Couldn't refuse. Uh, we'll add to the Silus kind of random cards. An 86 Fleer Moses Malone. This guy was crazy if you look at his stats on the back. But this is a nice card in terms of condition. I should have bought more from this guy on eBay. Eddie George. This is a 1997 refractor tops chrome. I don't know why I'm buying Ohio State guys, but um kind of nostalgic, I guess. Eddie George 98 tops chrome refrator. A 99 top scroll refrator. A little OC. This is a 2001 top chrome refractor. I think these are numbered. Yeah, a 999. Randy Moss 2001 top refractor. out of 999 and a 1999 Randy Moss topscomb refractor. Unfortunately, not worth grading. Uh but pretty nice cards and nostalgic for me. Few vintage cards. A very nice crisp 68 Clemente. I may grade this one. Um it's pretty centered for a 68. Um and quite clean actually. Should have bought more from this guy as well. He had some really nice cards. Sandy Kofax for 65. Little OC, but no creases and very clean. And this is a definite PC. I've been waiting for a nice copy of the Aussie Smith rookie centered. This one's pretty centered top to bottom. Right to left is always off, but this is quite quite good for Aussiey's rookie. And the big card that I picked up recently is this 2006 Upper Deck Exquisite Miguel Cabrera patch auto. Um, this is the first year of Upper Deck MLB Exquisite. This one's out of 30. Um, his auto on a sticker unfortunately, and it's coming off a bit there. Um, it's technically a seven color patch, but maybe that's stretching it. It has a a bit of a pinstripe there, but I I guess it's more or less a maybe a fourcolor patch with a pinstripe, but I wish it was in a Tiger's uniform. Can't complain though. Game used. I'm going to try to see if this came from a jersey pants or hat or whatever it is, but um this is a sweet card. The guy had some crazy cards. This guy actually sold the Matt Stafford 101 Topschrome Auto for like 50K. I I don't think people saw it and it ended at an awkward time, but this guy has had some crazy cards on. Unfortunately, he had some awesome Kelvin Johnson rookie cards that I wouldn't have bid on, but I was with my daughter at a birthday party with no service. So, fortunately, I couldn't bid on those cards. Maybe he has some more that come up, but quite stoked for this. I think these are underrated um as a first year upper deck exquisite. So, awesome there. Okay. and to the grading. So, I'm going to combine a higher service with bulk. I think that'll make it go faster because they have to open up the package if I package them together. So, the Jordan new heights, this has a bit of a edge issue. I don't know if I should grade this. I think I'd be winning at an eight, but it could go anywhere from a six to an eight in my opinion based on that that edging. We'll see how that goes. But the card is super clean otherwise. I showed this the Palomala kaboom and maybe call me a sellout, but I thought about sending this to CGC, but when I looked this over with a magnifying glass, it looked super super clean. The auto was good. So, I'm going to get it dual graded. We'll see what it comes back. And I may win or lose with these, but we'll give it a go. Okay. And for the bulk order, 86 Fleer Jerry Rice. I'm guessing hopefully a seven. I'm going to guess six or seven. 67. Clyde Rexler 86. This one was really nice, too. Just a little OC top to bottom. Hoping for an eight here. Uh, Star Power, probably a seven to an eight. I'll be winning an eight. Has some soft corners. Jordan EX201 acetate has some surface issues, which is normal. I'd be winning an eight. I think it's an eight. So, we'll see. This comes from that Jordan collection that I bought. Uh, shooting stars tops chrome non-refrator. Probably a seven or an eight. A Michael Jordan 96 fleer ultra. This is the um ultra effort. Not the platinum and not the gold medallion, but I think this is a nine. Jordan electrified. Hoping for a nine. This one's pretty clean. A nuts and bolts. This one looked really nice. I'm This one has a shot at a 10. So, I'll say nine or a 10. A Jordan Center Stage. These are a tough grade. I This one's fairly clean minus some corners that are a little rough. Um I'll be winning at at a seven or an eight. So, I'll say maybe an eight on this one. A very nice uh Metal Universe Wolverine Barry Sanders. These are a tough tough grade. I've graded some of the Jerry Rice Spider-Man and Barry Sanders Wolverines. This one has a chance at a nine. We'll see. Big card here. Charles Woodson Tops Chrome Refractor. This one's quite centered. Has a bit of a surface issue. Um I got this back from authenticity guarantee. It was like hanging out of the um card saver unfortunately as always. But I'll be excited to keep this one. this uh he's the uh in my opinion the best Michigan football player ever. Eddie George, finest refractor out of 100. Eddie George, finest refractor out of uh 175. EMTT Smith showed this one as well. This is out of 50. This was painful to crack out of the uncirculated cases or one touches. Uh, you should only take them out if you feel like they have good centering. And this one looked okay, so I snapped it out and I'm going to send it in for grading. LT uh, tops chrome refractor. LT red 2006 tops chrome refractor. Uh, this one's numbered out of 259. Uh, took it out of that uncirculated one-touch, but this one looked really nice. And I think this one has a a chance at a 10. We'll call it pregrade of a 10. And this is from his uh touchdown record of 28 touchdowns in 2006. So I think it's a significant year for him. This one just looked really clean. A centric uh coward generation now out of 250 rookie card. Kate Fractal. Kate blue fractal. Kate Martin rookie card out of 49 I believe. And I've never graded these. We'll see how this goes. But a bunch of tops now cards. Um, Showi 4040 club. I think this will 10. Show 50/50 club. I think this will 10. Aaron Judge MVP tops. Now, I'm thinking this can 10 as well. Some of them have surface scratches, so we'll see on the back of the cards. Aaron Judge Show MVP. Um, I think this has a shot at a 10. Curry and Messi night card. Um, this one also has a little bit of surface issues. So, nine or 10. A Steph Curry Night Knight from the Olympics. Probably a nine or a 10 with some surface issues on the back. Didn't seem too severe though. So, we'll see as a test. Um, the triple logo. Just kidding. That hasn't been found. But the triple of Curry, LeBron, Durant. Um, thinking nine or 10. This also had some surface issues on the back. And a Wimyama starade. This one has a surface ding. We'll see how this goes. This is a case hit. Um, super thick card as you can see. Uh, we'll say a nine or 10. Uh, 10 is a long shot since it's a thick card, but we'll give it a go. So, this will be going off the PSA. I may actually drop it off as well. Maybe that can be another video in the Jersey City location. But I'm hoping this and some of the other uh PSA orders start moving faster. I've had them in the queue for a long time. I do have a vintage order coming back fairly soon, so we'll see how that goes. Thanks for watching everyone.
