What's up, YouTube? Been a while. So, I thought I'd make a video on some of my favorite Michael Jordan cards. A lot of my Jordan collecting is purely based on nostalgia. Um, a lot of the Jordans that you'll see here are these are just specifically from my slabs. I have a bunch uh in binders that I like to keep and just look at. Um, a lot of the Jordans are from, I would say, more affordable packs from the 1990s all the way up to like 1998 or 1999. That's primarily when I collected and I've kind of started and stopped at during that time. But I would say a good majority of these are actually from my ch my childhood or I picked up thereafter. I'll say maybe like 5050. I am gonna go back home uh back to my parents home where I have a number of cards still and hoping to pick those up and see what I have. I honestly can't fully recall what I have. Um but yeah, I'm excited for that. But more or less a lot of affordable Jordans just in terms of when they were available at the time and just some of my favorite art. This is a living legends. I have no idea what these go for and I think this is gradable, but um that's a cool picture of Jordan there. Top stating club beam team. Um I guess if the question is why haven't I sent this for grading? It's it is worth sending but again like I have no intention of getting rid of or parting with this Jordan. Um, this was a childhood card. 87 Fleer sticker. This came in that Jordan collection that I'm keeping in a raw 87 little OC. Okay. For my graded Jordans that I have on hand. I got this one recently back from grading. Um, a higher power. I just like the art here. I got a PSA 9 star power. I have another one of these at grading actually. Um, it's hard to get anything above an eight on these, at least from my experience, but I would love the Star Power Plus and the Star Power Supreme someday. I feel like I'm kind of at a crossroads. Like part of me is like wanting to get some of the bigger Jordans like the Naturalborn Thrillers, Thrillsekers, um, Flare Rose Zero, 1996, but I get so distracted in other cards like modern cards and vintage baseball. is hard. Um, I am considering and thinking, do I part with a lot of what I have to go fully into Jordan because that's primarily what I like to collect. I don't know. It's a toughy. We'll see. Top crop. This is a die cut. Look how it's in the uh so much space here, but with Gary Payton on the back. Air PSA 9. Most of these are going to be in PSA 9s. Uh, gold labels. I think Topps is eventually going to remake these for basketball. Um, and I think these will be harder to get, but one of my favorite cards is that it's a it's not a refractor, but it kind of looks like it. There's another one, but these are kind of backtoback serial numbers. So, that's why I like to keep the Jordan and the Kobe together. Uh, I used to have so many of these at one point. the 1996 tops chrome. This is the last one that I have left. There was minimal greening on the Jordan. I think that's why I kept this one. I had a bunch of PSA 9. And this is from Kobe's year or Kobe's rookie year. 95 finest Jordan. This brings back a lot of nostalgia. There's a lot of Jordan refractors from this year. I believe the full core trap, not the gold embossed, which is much harder to get. You can tell if it's kind of uh if it has indents on the back. Not a high grade here, but I just really like the um the picture here. This is one of my favorite ones. 94 finest uh with the coating. The refractor I used to have and I regret selling it. Um but yeah, the refra there is a refractor version of this SP hollow view. This comes in a die cut as well that's kind of uh it almost looks like stairs on the top. This one brings back a lot of nostalgia. I remember going buying the packs and uh looking for these. This is a 98 Ultra Gold Medallion Jordan. Graded this one recently. I think I bought this from Asia not too long ago. This thing has gone up like crazy. The 97 Fleer Ultra Jordan Gold Medallion. Um, I think there was the one of one that recently sold, but this is a PSA 9. Beautiful card. It's super hard to get anything above a nine or an eight on this. There's little dots that is part of the uh the the art of the or I would say maybe the texture of the card. Hardcore Heroics PSA 8. I just like the background on this one. And yeah, I think these are all they they should be all playing days. shortens 95 upper deck electric cord gold. So, this comes in a gold and uh just a standard silver, but the golds are really hard to pull. This one unfortunately got a PSA 5, which it deserves a PSA 5 based on the surface issues. Larger than life. This is a cool card. The edges are a tough grade on this one, but PSA 8. This one's a classic. The power boosters, there's a couple power boosters in this set. I think that's Horus Grant in the background. I don't I can't tell. Um but this one's a PSA 8 SP Allstars PSA 9. This is the gold version. There's also um an SP I forgot what it's called, but it almost has like jagged edges on the top and bottom. And Jordan's in his black Bulls jersey. That one has gone up like crazy. This one is still affordable um and fairly easy to grade in my opinion. I got this one back not too long ago. This is a PSA 10 just in the the standard silver. Got this back recently in a grading review reveal video. The Pro View and a PSA 10. All right. So, these these are very very underrated in my opinion. Uh the Players Club platinums. So, I remember going to Meyer buying packs for like two for a dollar. I swear at one point, but uh you could get the players club, which was one per pack. The platinums were for the most part, I think, one per one of those big jumbo boxes. The odds were really hard to pull these. Um I wish I had bought more of these just during the years. This one brings the most nostalgia for me because I just remember buying packs and packs and packs of cheap collector's choice to pull the Jordan Players Club and the Platinums, but I never pulled a Jordan Platinum. This one's a scouting report in a nine. I actually have a bunch of these. Um, a bunch ungraded. This one I got back not too long ago, a Grant Hill. But, uh, you can tell it looks a little different because it's shinier and it says platinum. Another card I chased, the Collector's Choice Star Quest. There's different versions of this in different years. This one's probably my favorite. This one's a classic, the 92 beam team. This one's in a true nine um with 95 centering. Not my favorite Jordan to be honest, but the the little holograms in the back kind of reminds me of school picture day when you could choose like the uh there was like those laser beams in the back. Everyone chose those, I think. I don't know. Sticky fingers uh PSA 9. I had the tops chrome recently, but I did trade that away. Um, I I prefer this one because the texture looks a little bit different. This is one that's not playing days a Jordan game used crowns uh fleer ultra. These are super underrated. The first day issues um from this year. I don't know what the print run on this is, but this one got the PSA8. And you can tell because it says first day issue at the right by the basketball emotion. This is a pretty popular card. It wasn't hard to pull, but the Jordan's always worth quite a bit, especially in the PSA 9. Okay, this is the refractor version. I call this one Bruce Banner. Uh he's very green. You can see these cards are notorious for greening. Unfortunately, this one is uh the Bruce Banner. Um, but a refractor and a I got this when it was definitely more affordable. The 93 refractor. I I would say this is like almost a mustave for for Jordan collectors or start starting Jordan collectors. It used to be affordable a little bit ago, but I don't know what this thing has climbed up to. Unfortunately, a lot of them have grading and you can tell he has grading. I think that's why I got the eight because it's pretty nice otherwise. I mean, top to bottom centering is a bit off. I don't have the 94 as I mentioned uh refractor I traded that away. The 94 is probably my most favorite to be honest but this one's a classic. I I think this goes side by side with the surprisingly this is cheaper than the Ken Griffy finest refractor. Um I would think this would be this one would be more since this is is his first quote unquote refrator for Jordan Scoring Kings. This is one that I pulled. Um, I don't know if you can tell. The only thing wrong with this is there's kind of like a different color. You can tell it's almost more white in certain sections. The card was bricking and because it was bricking, it caused that coloration issue. But one of the more classic Jordans, Hot Numbers, is a lenticular that he kind of goes back and forth. Uh, PSA 9 have a couple of these 87 Jordans and PSA 9, a graded 87 flare Jordan and an eight. This is the standard players club platinum. Um, again, I think this is a very underrated card. I used to have a couple of these um shacks in the background here, but the shine is pretty nice. And uh this was a super hard card to pull back in the day. This one I showed recently. I'm definitely keeping the Jordan sticker. I've shown these two as well. Uh the Jordan rookies. I used to have a PSA 5, which I regret selling. It was It looked like a nine on the front and the back looked like a three, unfortunately. Had another one of these. This is just in an SGC, the first day issue. And one of my favorites, the apparitions. Um, I sent it to sent this to SGC. Thought it would probably get a seven in a PSA, so thought SGC was fair, but really like the uh the background on this. I think they're remaking this card or I've seen kind of the throwbacks of the the apparitions cards. So, just some of my favorite Jordans. I don't know what to do. These are a good majority of these would never be for sale or trade. I just feel like I'm at a crossroads. Do I continue to pick up more Jordans and bigger cards like the Flare Rose Zero, Thrillsekers, the Platinum Portraits? I don't know. It's tough because I always get distracted. Um, but there's definitely some nostalgia to this. I would again recommend if I had to I I think one of the more underrated Jordans here are are the the early refractors. I I still think it's affordable compared to the Kang Griffy Jr. which is crazy expensive. This this in an eight is in my opinion relative to that Griffy much more affordable. Thanks for watching.
